Great fit, comfortable, breathes well
Jacket is exactly what I was expecting based on the description and video. Only difference was that the photos show Velcro side adjusters and it actually has snaps. Luckily i prefer snaps.

Comfortable and feels like it would provide the medium protection I was looking for. Gets warm at traffic lights, but breathes very well at speed.

I can pull out of the garage on a 90 degree day and run 20-30 miles without sweating at all if I keep moving 40MPH or more.

I am 5'11" 185 and wear a 42R... 54 fits great.

Proven in battle to be worth every penny
A car hit me on the freeway while I was wearing this jacket (helmet, pants, gloves, and boots too, of course) and I walked away without a scratch.

I slid and rolled nearly 20 yards and the shoulders leather wore away to the bare protectors, so I was pushing the limit for this jacket.

Aside from the great protection, this is one of the best fitting jackets for a slim, athletic guy. I am 6'0" and 155 lb with a large 8" drop from chest to waist, and the size 46 fit me all over like a glove. When new, it was snug (I felt like a burrito if I breathed in too deeply), but broke with heat and sweat (i.e. one afternoon of traffic on the US 101).

The arms are slim, which is what I was looking for. Past jackets with an American fit tended to have fat elbows and forearms, which made the elbow pad roll over my elbow in crashes. This compromised the protection and tended to give road rash even without skin-asphalt contact. I'm glad to report that the Dainese has no such problems.

Finally, the trouser loop is entirely useless. The button which fastens it around a belt loop snaps open much too easily; I could bend over to tie my boots and it'd disengage. Considering the short, sporty cut of the jacket, I'd usually end up exposing more than I wanted to.

Quality materials, good protection, sexy
Im 5'7 195 lbs. ordered black/white/red perforated airfast
I bought a size 52, fits good and snug as i believe is the correct fit for safety

Came in a box, inside was a hanger and jacket cover that has revzilla on the back side, jacket was packaged in a clear bag, smells real good

Jacket has a belt loop at the back

Leather feels very good, just worn it for 5 mins and it is very stiff, but as i kept it on for another 10 mins it started to loosen up and feel good, in the 3/4 position it will be perfect no doubts, the neck is very comfortable unlike Icon jackets

Take the elbow and shoulder pads out and its just pure sexy, feels great enough to wear out

but i have a slight beer belly... Its not bad around my gut so its still a perfect fit,
arms are perfect length aswelll
shoulders with the pads in fit perfectly

As i wear the jacket i have no doubt that the shoulders/chest will stretch a bit.

Only thing i dont like is the zippers, the outer 3 just feel cheap.

Great summer jacket!
Got a size 46 as I'm 5"3 with a 36 inch chest and fits perfectly.

Price of this jacket is pretty reasonable as it is a leather jacket from dainese.

The jacket looks amazing from the outside. Had a few people comment on it whilst wearing it off my bike. Also love the fact that it is not a long jacket. So it is pretty short and when I am leant over riding, you can see my shirt underneath from the back.

Jacket is very comfy, after you have worn it in, it fits amazing on the body. Only downfall I would say is that when you are riding and tilt you head down, wind can catch the back of your collar and cool your back down instantly. But it can be good if it's on a really hot day.

The forearm and shoulder armour feels strong, fits your forearms perfectly.

The airflow on this jacket is amazing. Feels like your riding with a thick jumper on. If you are wearing a short sleeve underneath, you can feel the wind on your arms which cools your down greatly.

Splendidly stylish racing jacket. The jacket conforms to my body well. I have received many compliments about this jacket. Though it is a leather jacket, its ventilation is extremely good to keep you cool while riding in hot weather.

Ripped. What gives?!
I fell in love with this jacket from the moment I opened the box until two weeks after when it began to tear.

The rip began under the armpit area. I was never rough with this jacket. I carefully removed it from my hanger before use and carefully put it away after use. I treated it like it was my baby. Despite all of this, it ripped. I am not 100% sure how or why it ripped, but I assume that since it was perforated under the armpits and it was hot outside, the leather became moist and weak and voila, a tear began. Or maybe I just got a defective unit.

Besides all of the negative, I did actually enjoyed the jacket. It was very comfortable and it fit snug. The jacket allowed excellent air flow during the spring heat while giving me extra protection. One thing I do recommend is ordering a size smaller because they do run a half size large.

Definitely worth the money
Awesome jacket, the 36 fits me as a 5'6" fit body type perfectly. The airflow is amazing and the leather is perfect. Armor is perfectly positioned and doesn't shift under movement. Interfaces well with gauntlets and my helmet. Highly recommended.

A Good Three Season Jacket
This was my first Dainese jacket. Having worn mostly Alpinestars jackets for years, I wanted to try out a new brand. The jacket is good for three seasons and has a casual look to it so you can wear it on and off the bike.

For sizing, I'm 5'7" and weighs around 195 pounds. Compared to Alpinestars jackets, this Dainese jacket runs a little smaller on the size. Although the arm length is perfect, I would need to lose a bit of my beer gut to feel comfortable when wearing it. Looks-wise, the jacket is very stylish and sexy. But most of us sportbike riders choose our gear for protection, rather than for looking good. Having said that, the jacket does come with pretty sturdy elbow and shoulder protection. The only downside is you would need to purchase a separate back protection as the jacket does not come with any back protection.

The smell of the leather upon unwrapping the package was very, leathery. And the reflective arm-straps are very visible on my black and white jacket, which I really like. The built-in air-venting liner as featured on Revzilla video is fantastic. The one complaint I have for this jacket, however, is its sticky zipper. It isn't one of the smoothest operating zippers I have unzipped. So for those with fat fingers, this may be frustrating.

All in all, I like the jacket and would recommend it to riders who are looking for a good protective jacket. You can also wear this jacket off the bike. The only thing non-casual about this jacket (besides protection) is the jacket's pronounced Dainese logo.

If you decide to buy it, I recommend you to size up. And thanks Revzilla for fast and FREE shipping to Hawaii!!! You guys are awesome and I will be buying more ONLY from you guys!!!

Quality leather jacket with amazing airflow
This is my first leather jacket purchase and I am very satisfied with it. The fit is very snug but I was told it would stretch out over time and contour to my body. The airflow is very good, making this jacket great for warm weather riding. Dainese did an excellent job with the styling of the jacket and not only does it look great, it provides all the protection you would want out of a leather jacket.

I am 5'4 135 lbs and ordered a size 44

Amazing Jacket
I've had this jacket for over a year now, and I still love it. I got the black/red/white in size 50. For starters, it's incredibly sexy looking. I've gotten numerous comments from people who love the look of my jacket. And it ties in perfectly with the color scheme of my Ducati.

I'm 5'7", 175 lbs, with about a 42 chest and average midsection. The 50 fits pretty good. I was worried it might be too small based on the sizing chart (I'm short but have a large chest/upper so choosing was difficult), and it is in one part, but its conformed and stretched very slightly to fit better since I first got it.

The only fitment issue I have is just below the front/side of my shoulders. I have arm room when they're by my side or slightly raised, but when my arms are forward, as with riding, this area has NO give, and so is kind of uncomfortable. I have to shrug the jacket up just slightly to give my arms room to extend further comfortably. But the sleeve length fits right. I think it's due to the way the arms attach to the back of the jacket. Or a sizing issue, but as mentioned, everything else fits/feels fine...

Ventilation is definitely there, but remember that this is still leather. After sweating at a light for a bit though, once you start moving again it's like AC...

The pads are great and I honestly forget they're even there.

Dainese known quality and style. I have owned a number of Dainese products, Jackets , Pants and Gloves. they stand up over time.

Its the body that continues to change and that is the only reason I continue to buy additional products not due to failure of the products.itself.

Is there pockets to replace the elbow and shoulder armour? Or are they velcro in type? I like to replace all of my armour with forcefield stuff. Thanks!
A shopper on Aug 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Highly doubt it'll move if you crash.. From what I remember I had issues taking the armour out last time I was bored and played with the jacket. It's going to stay together 11/10 times.
I am 5'8" , 143 lbs.

is this jacket(size 48) fit to me?

example, Dainese Air-3 (size 48) was a little loose to me.
I like a slim fit.
A S on Sep 20, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hey now, just about your size, 5'10" 135 lbs also 36 chest. If you want slim fit go 46. That's what I have and perfect fit. Great jacket, flows lots of air
What would be matching pants for this jacket?
Guest on May 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This jacket has not propriate zip connection to trousers, but has a strap with clip to hang on jeans belt so you can choose any jeans or cargo or leather pants but this jacket could not make top-protected waist.
This answer is just a matter of functionality not a style.
just got my jacket in the mail today... what gloves would pair well?

BTW - I am 5'11" and 185 pounds... the 54 fit great
William D on Jun 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have a pair of the new 4 stroke evo gloves and they work really nicely.
Hi .. I currently live in Perth Australia .. I have an Airfast jacket which is great here in Summer as it can be 35deg C at 7am .. but in Winter it is also 2dec C .. I also have a 'K' jacket but I've put on a couple of kg so it isn't as comfortable as it used to be ;p .. so I need a wind proof base layer that I can wear under the Airfast (I also live in a ski field in Victoria so it would come in handy riding around the mountains) is there much available in shirts for around the $100 mark? cheers Scott
