The Outlander 4 is just about the slimmest, most form fitting, lightweight means of carrying 3 liters of hydration. The patented No Dancing Monkey shoulder harness technology uses a central chest buckle in combination with elastic webbing to ensure the pack stays glued to your back without restricting your breathing or freedom of movement. The Outlander 4 is purely designed to sustain you over the course of an athletic activity where you'd be going through 3 liters of hydration. There's an exterior zippered pocket that's big enough for an energy bar or two, but that's it.  

The Outlander series uses premium materials to deliver the lightest pack weight possible within USWE's lineup. If you're going to be doing summer enduro or harescramble racing, or other athletic activities like mountain biking or trail running, you'll appreciate the featherweight Outlander 4.
