The Triumph Rocky Jacket is a casual cotton jacket that pays homage to Bud Ekins, the famous California motocrosser, driver, desert racer and stuntman. With seven AMA District 37 championship titles, Ekins took his two-wheeled skills to the silver screen in 1963. With thirty-five years of movie credits to his name, Ekins is perhaps best known for his early role subbing for Steve McQueen and launching a TR6 Trophy over the 12' fence jump in "The Great Escape".

His relationship with Triumph Motorcycles goes back equally as far. Ekins owned and operated his own Hollywood, CA dealership - selling bikes to virtually all of the Bonneville-riding stars of the era. Ekins continued to ride Triumph bikes through the 1960s in ISDT competitions all over the world.
