First, I sized one down based on recommendations here, and that held true. Now, other than that, I think these boots will last me a long time. Problem is, I kinda wish they wouldn't. $175 for these boots is a great bang for your buck, and I'm not completely unhappy with them. However, the sole is thin and not super grippy, which isn't the greatest when walking or when it's raining on the bike. The padding is almost non-existent inside the boot. Few people would ever call these "comfortable." More like not completely uncomfortable. The fake leather doesn't flex very well, and I wouldn't want to walk very long in them either. I had a pair of A* SMX-4s for about 5 years that were incredibly comfortable and durable. I balked at the price (nearly $300), and difficult wearing SMX-6s under street pants. Plus SIDI has a great reputation. Well...after trying on a pair of SMX-6s at my local shop that felt like pillows on my feet compared to the SIDIs, I'm reminded that $100 over thousands of miles and several years is pennies. I made a mistake. Get the good stuff.
You may fell hard to shift gears but after you a while you get used to it. I loved and recommend it!! Riding a 14 Yamaha R6.

Missed several upshifts on track trying to get foot positioned. Maybe they will break in better, get more used to fit. Need to adjust location of shifter. Otherwise, should be a 5star buy.
