Servo Buddy Suzuki GSXR600 / GSXR750 / GSXR1000 / GSXS750

The Servo Buddy is THE solution to the common problem of what to do about the factory exhaust valve and servo motor system. Completely eliminating the motor, valve, cables, etc and it not only drops weight and frees up valuable space, but utilizing the Servo Buddy improves reliability by eliminating the common issue of the factory servo motor gears stripping out, FI light coming on or the motor burning up. The Servo Buddy is a must-have when switching to an aftermarket exhaust, and even works great with the factory system.

Easy install
My servo began making a noise so i decided to put this on and get rid of the servo completely. It was very light and easy to install. Just plug and play. No fi light or issues yet. Only thing was revzilla sent this tiny thing in a pretty big box.

Flappy Valve Servo Eliminator
Yep. It works just like it's supposed to. Tricks the computer into thinking the flappy valve is still there and tucks away nicely into the side panel under the seat.

Does what it claims to do
My full exhaust system did away with my exhaust control valve powered by a servo motor which a block off plate was provided to attach to the motor. After 3 years the servo went dead causing an fi light. The servo like a charm and no more fi light

Would this take out my f1 light on my 2001 gsxr 600?
A shopper on Mar 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The most common reason for a servo buddy is to remove the FI light for the ECVA on a GSXR. Your year model does not have the ECVA on the muffler. You would need to determine the code for the FI light first to see how to repair your bike. Contact your local Suzuki dealer and they should be glad to help out.
Do I need this only when the FI light is flashing? I ride a v-strom 1000 2014
Faisal A. on Apr 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: First question is did you change your exhaust? If you did then yes you may need this. Your exhaust should have come with a servo bracket to trick your servo into thinking it is working. If you broke your servo trying to put the bracket on like I did. Then you have no need for the servo anymore. Simply remove the servo and connect the Servo Buddy. Your FI light will be gone. Easy job. Hope this helped
Will this work on my 06 gsxr 600 ?
