The Helite Custom Airbag Vest offers the highest level of rider safety. The high quality leather vest protects riders' spine and vital organs due to its revolutionary design, inorporating a back protector on top of the air bag that disperses impact forces across the vest instead of concentrated in one spot. With its mechanical trigger and lead system, there are no delicate sensors to fail or batteries to replace. Simply connect the lead to your vest and bike and go. When the rider is ejected from the motorcycle in the event of a accident, the trigger is pulled and the vest inflates, creating a rigid neck brace as well as firm support to the spine, back, chest, ribs and kidneys. 

Sizing Recommendations: The vests are made to be long enough to sit on, but you do not want the rib protection so low that it is covering below the waist. The other fit to avoid is wearing the vest too small so it rides up high under the arms. The vest should have a loose fit and be long enough to cover the hip and pelvic areas in the event of an accident.

Note: The vest runs small. We recommend ordering 2 sizes larger. In a rolling change, some sizes now carry the CO2 cartridge more discreetly without being outlined externally by leather trim (see second photo for reference).
