Great Bag
I am currently using this liner during my trip through North, Central and South America. I have it in my Givi Outback Case, which the bad was apparently designed to accompany. The bags can be used as both a liner and as a stand alone bag (it comes with a strap). The odd thing is that the liner is 45L and the cases that they are made to go in are 48L, so I have an immediate loss of a valuable 3L of space. At first, this annoyed me, however, the extra space is along the site of the case and my Laptop and carrying case fit perfectly into the void. This was a last second purchase I made right before I left, I am glad that I did.

It fit my side case.

Nice to use for clothing. The insides of aluminum panniers tend to leave silver marks on anything that touches them. As such, I use the waterproof bags to protect my clothing from these marks. I thought that it was odd that Givi would sell a 45L bag for a 48L case, but regardless of the reason, the shortage leaves the perfect amount of space to slide in a 17" computer encased in its protective sleeve.

It fits the 48L trekker box perfectly, and since these boxes have proven to be less than water-tight, I needed something to keep my stuff dry.

I'm looking into luggage. I'd like to have ability to lock up my Klim pants and jacket when I park on the trail, and I'm wondering if there is a system I could use to carry luggage to the airport- maybe using the inner bag for the Trekker Outback as carry-on or checked luggage. Any advice? Do people put laptops in side cases? If so, what do they do to protect their computer gear? As you can telll, I'm interested in urban commuting to work, getting into wilderness trails, and going to the airport. My bike is a Honda XR650L.
