Worth it...even if it didn't say Dainese on it
This is a Dainese branded Ogio backpack. Not sure of the standard Ogio model number but either way this is a very-very nice backpack.

Returned a Kriega because it felt like a $20 bag and someone added a 0 to the end. This bag feels like I got what I paid for.

It's a great size, very comfortable, and the compartments are great for holding odds-and-ends. The sunglass compartment in very slick IMO.

Unless you're plan on transporting a vintage Encyclopedia Brittanica set (remember those?) or making it rain at Costco - this bag is fine. A 15" Macbook Pro, some extra clothes, and it's a perfect weekend bag...

Oh, shipping took a week and not the 3-5 stated

Decent bag but expected better
I needed a bag for my daily motorcycle commute that involved carrying a laptop pretty much 24/7 as I am on call for security. The D-gambit is a spacious bag, and the hard sunglasses pocket, multiple organizers, and separate laptop compartment are winners here. However, the side pockets are not deep AT ALL. I can't even shove a computer mouse in there. There is no rain cover or helmet carrier, and no options for hydration. I returned it for the Alpinestars Force 25, which is much more bang for your buck IMHO. Pretty much the best thing about this bag is that it has a very wide opening, and can be laid down and opened like a suitcase.

Overall, I wasn't happy with the quality for the bag. OGIO backpacks consistently have a cheap feel to them, especially in this bag's straps and back which have almost no padding. The clips also feel very cheap with very thin straps. There is a world of difference between quality Dainese gear and this bag.

Dainese Ogio
I've had many back packs over the years. Finding one that fits comfortably over a leather jacket is not always easy, especially if you have any substance to you. Prior to this bag, I had an Ogio no drag and a Tumi Ducati backpack. Both good bags. The No Drag Ogio was good but limited capacity (love the bag, don't get me wrong.) Had the Tumi Ducati bag for ten years before the strap system ripped away (a very sad day.) Bought a new Tumi Ducati bag but it was clearly not made for someone 6'3" and 250lbs. It was more child sized.

Yes you can get an Ogio Gambit Backpack for a bit less than the Dainese. However, then you don't really stand apart. The Dainese branding on the Ogio bag is very well done.

Overall the bag is great. Many compartments. I have a 14" laptop, 12.9" iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and even a Samsung Galaxy Tab in the bag. The padding for all of today's electronics is great and there is still another compartment that you can have your rain gear or overnight clothes.

Super happy!
Got this pack as a gift... very happy with it. Was very surprised when I transferred everything from my old non-motorcycle back pack to this pack. The design keeps everything closer to your body, giving the impression of less weight.

Thie side packs seemed small at first, but stretched out nicely.. there is a "secure spot for a 15 inch laptop. Yeah, that' wont take a 15 inch lap top. . But there is a seperat spot for a tablet. And the hardened sunglass case is a nice feature.

Overall thrilled with it!
