The Africa Twin is an extremely capable off-road machine but those that push the limits though gunk and muck know the front fender design has some serious limitations. Just at the point of rotation where mud should be able to fling off a spinning tire, the front fender steps in and keeps it caked on. The High Fender Kit from AltRider features a new fender like that found on a Honda MX bike and aluminum lower shrouds to keep your stanction tubes protected. This MX-style fender allows your front tire to effectively shed mud for better traction when cornering and braking.
