Very Comfortable Great Boots!!!
I tried most of the usual suspects in touring boots category. I didn't want to look like a Gestapo invading Poland style boots but rather a comfy Touring boots.

I tried many other brands including TCX's New GoreTex Air Tech model and many other models. Each and every model hurt the top of my foot where you normally tie your shoelaces in a knot. Even though those touring boots did not have any laces, every time I motion forward over and lift my heels my toes and bend my feet they all bite(!) and hurt on top of my foot!

Then I tried this GREAT shoes. What a difference!
Right out of the box it felt like if I put some comfy slippers on!
Trust me, it is that comfortable!

Great on the bike or off the bike while walking around!

Plus putting it on and taking it off is done effortlessly!
You don't have to deal with zippers or shoelaces...
Adjustment of how snug you want it is a breeze with its unique reverse buckle system.
I love it!
I am sure you'll love it too...
Go ahead and give it a try!
You won't be sorry!

Excellent Boot!
This is a great boot. Very comfortable and stylish, and excellent air flow. The ratchet system works great and there's no zippers to worry about breaking. They run large so order a size smaller than the size chart suggests. I'm typically a size 12 and these in size 46 fit me good

My experience in a crash
Wanted to share how these held up to a direct impact collision with a car- I was T-boned going thru an intersection at relatively slow speed (maybe ~15 MPH for each vehicle), and the car that ran the stop sign hit my left foot directly, sending me flying over my bike thru my windshield. Good thing I was wearing full gear and these boots!
I'm not sure what you could wear to prevent serious injury from a direct blunt force hit like that, but considering that the car bumper is likely what hit my boot, it faired rather well! My foot however suffered a bit more and I required out patient surgery but amazingly no broken bones! Personally I think it was just squashed like a grape, but these boots prevented much more serious injury!
So while I agree they could be a bit harder, and the buckles were damaged on both boots due to ground impact, they did ultimately provide decent protection for a pretty bad scenario.
Will I buy them again? Maybe, if I can't find a harder shell, higher boot for more coverage- admittedly b/c I'm a bit more weary now for better protection and ATGAT!

Perfection for a short boot!
This is almost like the New Land model, but with a proper ankle buckle to secure the boot to your foot! They're extremely comfortable for my slightly wide feet, high quality construction, and breathability is excellent for a water-proof boot thanks to the Gore-Tex lining and fabric bellowing. Very easy to around in. Perfect low-cut adventure boot.

Versatile XCRs !
Was looking for a water proof/resistant boot that offered some warmth but would still breath! These seem perfect so far after two rides. Have not hit rain or real cold temps yet. I can say the foot bed is like wearing a slipper, extremely comfortable! The boot above the ankle is supportive but could use a little more padding to compete with the footbed comfort. Mallett MC

Overall, I'm happy
I ride a '14 BMW RT, so my feet are well protected from the wind. My feet are not hot in these boots. My feet are wide across the balls of my feet, so even though I was told these are some of the widest boots, it's still a bit tight initially, then seems to stretch out some. It's a tight squeeze to get in the boot as well, for me. I had to cut back the adjustment strap to get it tight enough, but that wasn't hard to do. I'm hoping more time in the boots will ease the fit more.

Great on the bike, "meh" for walking around
I bought the Alpinestars Multiair boots primarily for touring but will do an occasional off-roading. Was looking for a waterproof boot that is good in hot weather.

Fit: The length of the boot seems true but the fit in the upper arch is really loose. I suspect this is a result of it not being a lace up boot. I tried shortening the ratcheting ankle strap but it's still loose. Going to a smaller size is not an option as the length would not fit.

The result is that the boot is loose when walking (like slippers) but on the bike, they feel great, comfortable and cool. The sole is stiff, good for extended standing on the pegs. The toe is a bit thick, making up shifting a bit of a challenge but I suspect any boot with proper protection to have this same issue on my bike.

I have not had a proper test int he rain yet so I got the garden hose out for a test and indeed, they are waterproof. The Gore-Tex makes it feel like you socks are wet but my socks stayed dry (my first experience with G-Tex).

Overall, I like the boots. The price in in the middle range for it's type. They look great. They are cooler than standard leather boots and the stiff sole is good for extended standing.

However, I will carry spare shoes. These boots are NOT made for walking (Sorry, Nancy).

great features but minimal protection
I got these boots for the gore-tex and was hoping for good ankle protection as well.
Pros
-- gore-tex
-- nice quality buckle system
-- air flow
-- comfortable

Cons
-- too large. I am a size 10 and EU size 44. But these size 44 boots were way too large
-- Not much protection. They are quite soft and easy to bend from side to side. I don't see these giving any ankle protection.
-- hard to get on and off. These could use a loop at the back to help pull them on. When I take them off the liner comes out part way with my foot. And these are too large. It would be worse if they were the right size.

Anyone know how these are different from the New Land boots?
chris p on May 11, 2017
The soles look very thin. Is there more to the soles than looks in the picture? Do your feet feel protected if you were in a crash?
Christopher C on Apr 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The soles do taper quickly towards the toe but at its thinnest I would say it's still 3/8" thick. The sole is made from a durable rubber that feels like a hard compound tire. I ride every day since my motorcycles are my only form of transportation and although I've only had them a few weeks, the soles show almost zero wear. I really don't even see scuff marks yet. As far as protection regarding the soles themselves.... I have zero concerns about that. I would be more concerned about ankle and shin protection with these boots way before any questions about the soles. These boots are an excellent compromise boot, but like any do-it-all product you will be giving up some safety for comfort, some comfort for waterproofing and some style for functionality. For me and what I look for in a do-it-all boot, this one fits the bill quite nicely though. I would recommend them. I do not however, recommend them for sport bikes since the toe housing is a bit too bulky for comfortable shifting, but for any bike with a more upright seating position, they should be a great fit.
Do these boots run a little wide or feel loose at all in the heel? Thanks!
Christopher C on May 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Wouldn't say that they run wide. I have a pretty thin foot, and they fit rather well. I did have to throw in a pair of insoles to get them to fit my foot. Without them, I was all over the place in them. As far as the heel goes, you can snug it up or keep room in them depending on how much you ratchet down the strap. You can get a nice custom fit with it.
How tall is the boot? How high up on your shin does it come?
A shopper on Jan 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Boot comes up the the shin. I will say I wish there was a little more in the way of protection in the shin. Maybe a harder shin plate. However it is CE rated which is better and some other more expensive boots
Looking for a riding/walking boot that I can commute and do some light/medium walking in, that is waterproof, and has great protection. It seems like this fits the bill. Is this correct?

Also, looking for a size 10, would this be 44 or 42?
A shopper on Oct 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These were definitely all-day comfortable for walking right out of the box, although I replaced the insoles with some good athletic replacement insoles and that made them super comfortable. These do offer good protection with the slight exception that the shin area could be better if it had true hard armor. It's just a thicker material there. I wear a size 11-11.5 in most boots and I'm in a 45. Hope that helps a little.
How tall are these, measured from floor to highest point on the boot?
Philipp M on Jun 12, 2016
