Most Memorable Trip
The saying “time flies when you’re having fun” could not be more accurate when it comes to motorcycles. Looking back at the last 5 years, I feel like I’ve lived 5 lifetimes on 3 different bikes. I started off as a passenger, holding on for dear life as I sat on the fender of my boyfriend’s Sportster, wearing a half helmet 2 sizes too big, speeding down the BQE. Fast forward to today, where I’m planning my next trip to Montana (now an annual pilgrimage) on my XT250. And there’s been so much in between.
For some riders, it’s about the lifestyle. For me, it’s about the experience. Whether it’s nearly getting frostbite commuting on my SR400 (Beverly) through the wintery streets of Philly, riding alongside wild horses in the Nevada desert on my XT250 (Buffy the Trail Slayer) only to crash and break my wrist moments later, or rounding a turn on an old Indian trail in the mountains of Montana to park my Bonnie (Wanda) in front of the most beautiful waterfall I’ve ever seen…I think motorcycling will forever be in my DNA. See you on the road!
