Soft and Warm
This thick piece of fleece is great on a chilly day. It's for your neck only, so doesn't work well when pulled up over your chin. It is very comfortable and warm.

Great neckwarmer for the price!
I use this with my Bell 500 Helmet. It's easy to put on and it's very warm and breathable. It will also ride up over your nose if you need it to.

Warm enough for the neck, a bit too far on the snug side
The image shows this being worn over the nose. Maybe I have an especially large head, but trying to get the top of this over my nose is pretty uncomfortable. I had to wear it just over my mouth. I figured that would be fine inside a full face helmet anyway, and it certainly was. My neck was nice and warm when the temps were sub 40 degrees.

But the rest of my head was freezing. I'd hoped that I would only need to cover my neck, but that's not the case. If you want to *ride* in cold weather, you're going to want something that goes around your entire head and neck, not *only* your neck. This might be good for riding in temps between 40 and 50, I think over 50 it might be too warm. It's going to be perfect for my son waiting for the school bus over the winter, or for when I take the kids to the big sledding hill. It just seems to have limited usefulness while *riding.*

BEST $12 EVER SPENT
This neck warmer makes a night and day difference when you are riding in cold conditions. It keeps the wind from coming into your helmet from underneath and also from the collar of your jacket. It is designed to cover ONLY your neck and lower face. I highly recommend this if you dont want to buy a full balaclava

great product
Had it in 40 degree weather on the freeway. Especially if u tuck it under ur cheek-pads of helmet, it REALLY seals off your neck for warmth.

Cheap! and Great
I used this last year mostly for outside while I was working, let me tell you, it works great in cold temperatures, it was cold last year in Tennessee and it kept me warm. It works great in 40 degree temp on my sport bike. This is differently a great buy for $12

Perfect
Just what I needed for my morning commute. Fits well and keeps me warm. Easily folds up and tucks away in a bag or even a large pocket.

Great value
Does the job. I like the understated design and the relative thinness (compared to some other neckwarmers).

Didn't think I needed a full balaclava for cool nights in the fall, so this seemed like a middle of the road items. If I happen to do riding below 40 I might just purchase the full balaclava. Its nice to have options...

I didn't need a full head cover like my winter/waterproof from alpinestars and this is perfect! Wipe off the drool from my last crash and it's perfect again.
Chad H on Nov 20, 2015
It gets cold here at night, those morning commutes are much more pleasant with my neck fully covered. There's always that spot above the collar that gets SO cold otherwise...

Sometimes a whole head balaclava is too much and too warm. Keeping the chilly air off my neck at 60 MPH is still needed. Also, these warmers keep my leather jacket collar from rubbing my neck raw.

A neckwarmer is THE best bang for the buck for commuting in cool / cold temperatures - it covers the one open place that always gets cold.
