Great bang for the buck light weight and very comfortable in cool weather (30 - 50 degrees F) October 31, 2014
Good helmet liner, little else Good light weight liner, but offers little, if any protection from wind chill or rain. October 13, 2014
Good in overall The balaclava is very good the material is soft and very comfortable when wearing. The only con is the lack o fabric to cover properly the neck. I always try to pull it inside my second layer but, as I move my head, it comes off and I have the wind on my neck. Turned out this one is OK when it's hot, but on cooler days, I prefer the old one, that protects my neck better from the wind. September 8, 2014
Great basic thin balaclava I wanted a summer balaclava that added no heat, so I took a chance on this one. It is excellent, the material is very thin but soft and seems durable. Fit: This seems custom shaped for my head (long oval, Large) and it is not tight on me, so keep that in mind if you have a very small head. Other notes: Neck - the neck portion is not really long enough to secure on the chest. It just barely covers below the neck, if that is important to you. Seams - the joined seams are fine but the seam on the eye opening is a little thicker. I wish someone could invent a zero-thickness opening seam. It can cause pressure marks if it is under your helmet padding. Logo - the white logo rubbed off within 2 wears. No big deal, looks better to me without it. Made in - China, of course. August 9, 2014
Wicks Away Sweat I was looking for a balaclava specifically for the summer and I found it here. It works really well and protects my helmet from all my sweat. Its also really thin and the air flow is great! My complaint is that its a one size fits all deal. I really wish it was smaller and more snug. It shifts when I pull my helmet on but its easy to fix and can be avoided if I do it just right. But for the price, its definitely worth it. Especially if your needs are like mine and you want a summer balaclava to wick away sweat. There aren't many out there and this one is your best bet. I recommend. July 26, 2014
This product fulfills its function well I Have used some balaclavas and it was my preferred until now. May 26, 2014
Juank Las costura internas del balaclava tallan la frente y después de un tiempo son insoportables. May 12, 2014
Makes riding alot more comfortable I bought this mostly because I wanted something to prevent my neck from chaffing on my jacket collar of my Olympia AST II when I have it velcro'd tightly in colder weather, but it actually does more than just that. It holds my ears to my head when Im putting on helmet which is really helpful since my Cardo G9 speakers sometimes fold my ears into the helmet. It provides a fair amount of cold air protection as well, since my helmet has anti-fog vents that are not closeable, making rides in sub 50 degree temps much more comfortable. It also performs well in hot weather, I dont usually tend to have sweating issues in my helmet, but this doesnt seem to make me any hotter than if I wasnt wearing it. I have a fairly large head and wear an XL or XXL helmet, and this stretches to fit me comfortably. For the price, its a great add-in to your cart if your just below the free shipping mark. This thing would also help keep your sweat out of your helmet liner as well I imagine. All in all, its something that I would not of purchased if it wasnt for my jacket irritating my neck when it's tightly closed (since I frequently do head checks and rub the front of my neck on my jacket collar), but after purchasing, I wish I had bought one sooner for colder rides and to help my ears get into the helmet without folding over. Keith P: I ride year round. A balaclava is necessary for rides under 43 degrees for me. I have 2 others, but one is pretty cheap and has fat seams. This Cortech should be a nice replacement for my cheap balaclava. I will give the old one to my three year old so that he can play ninja. Jan 15, 2014
