Great neck warmer
This neck warmer is amazing. It's a thin and soft neck warmer, yet it blocks out the wind well and keeps my neck warm. It's great for use when the weather is around 45 degrees F and up. I wouldn't really recommend it for anything below 40 degrees though, that's when I bring out my Zan's fleece neck warmer.

Klim neck warmer is extremely comfortable and I can actually put it on above my nose, then put my helmet on without the paddings inside my helmet pulling the warmer down (the fabric is so smooth the helmet just glides down). I hate readjusting when it is pulled down, very difficult to do (learned that the hard way with my other products).

does what it's supposed to do
I have several neck warmers already, but really just wanted a Klim one to go with my Badlands gear. my jacket rubs my neck the wrong way when its all zipped up so I wanted this to go underneath the collar when its chilly out. works just like I expected. comfortable, but not too warm. Probably wouldn't work if it was winter, but great for cool summer nights. fits nicely in the pocket of my jacket. just watch out for velcro, always gets caught on the velcro of my collar and my pocket, so if I'm not careful I will rip it up eventually, but not a design flaw just something to be mindful of.

Great product
This neck warmer has gotten me through the whole winter of riding. Slip it under your jacket and bring it up over your nose to keep you warm (although your visor might get a bit foggy sometimes if you don't have pinlock or anything of that nature to prevent fogging.) It's very comfortable and allows room for easy head movement. Before this I've had a balaclava which was a complete failure. No matter how hard I tightened my jacket's collar, it kept coming out after I've turned my head a few times, which led to my neck being cold. Anyway, this Klim Neck Warmer is the real deal.

easy to use -- not wind proof
This neck sock is not wind proof. It protects your neck as good as a scarf, but is easier to use. It is apparently shorter than before, but I'd say it's still pretty long; that's not a problem, but I don't know how to use the extra length -- maybe it makes it a bit warmer, wrinkled up, as it will be?

A must have
I bought a bunch of gear for a trip to Iceland this last minute addition of a neck warmer was a life saver. It really does keep water out of your neckline (mostly) and warm enough to be comfortable. Plus it prevent chafing from the jacket on your neck. Absolutely recommend.

Fantastic value on a great piece of gear
Best bang for the buck you'll find for such a versatile addition to your gear. It's a wind-blocker to protect your neck meat when riding in the cold, it's a hat when you're at camp or in your sleeping bag, it's also a decent dust mask when you double it up over your nose and mouth.

Best $20 you can spend on riding gear IMHO. This was my 2nd one since I wanted to have one handy no matter which bike I ride.

Great addition for cool rides
Not really a neck "warmer" but it does help block the wind. I rode in 30F weather with it and it got pretty cold for me. But anything 45F and up, I would definitely recommend! It's not bulky at all and the elastic band stays put quite well even when putting on a full face helmet with a chin curtain. I love it for cool weather rides!

Versatile and effective
I bought this for commuting, and it has been great in a range of cold weather. It's also relatively subtle and low key as a warm scarf or you can pull it up over your mouth on really cold days. Works great with my Revit Piazza.

Also got to put in some time off road with it, I'd probably go full balaclava for best fit under a motocross helmet - but it is versatile if it's not too cold.

I wanted some extra warmth and protection from the wind. This neck warmer is very nice. It's warm without being too bulky. You can pull it up over your mouth for extra cold days.

With a full Badlands set up my only bare skin is my neck, and it seems to get cold around the 40 degree mark. This should help with that, and once I pair my new down jacket underneath with this I should be able to go into much lower temps comfortably.

To protect my neck from the helmet lock scratch against my adams apple. Works wonder and can be worn on hot weather too.

Great neck warmer. Keeps the wind off. Doesn't pill up or get scratchy. Is just the right amount of warmth for my taste.
Mitch R on Jan 26, 2016
Works well to keep wind off the neck when its cold. Does get damp from breath and gets wet in the rain but it kept water from going into the front neck of the jacket after 4 hours of riding the rain. Turned it around to the dry side about half way.
Jim M on Nov 16, 2015
good and practical

Good reviews and I don't think I need a full face balaclava
Breandan W on Aug 28, 2015
Klim makes the best gear for snowmobiling. You need to this to bridge the gap between the helmet and jacket neck liner. When its 10 below and your riding for 250 miles a day, any draft felt is not funâ?¦..
Erik S on May 13, 2015
I ride a naked bike and my jacket doesn't come up around my neck much. Makes for chilly rides in the spring & fall here in Michigan. This should help.

Premium Klim quality as always. Had one before and lost it. Can't ride cold weather without it.

This neck warmer works great. I have a Dainese textile Avro jacket, and this neck warmer much appreciated when the temperature drops. I, sometime, wish that I had a more adv/4 seasons oriented jacket, but this does the trick for now. I recommend it!

Ivar S on Jun 11, 2016
Does this neck warmer have a wind-blocking layer?
A shopper on Oct 4, 2012
BEST ANSWER: I would say that the outer layer blocks most of the wind. The inner layer is a very thin and soft fleece. It was about 44 degrees when I used it last weekend and it was plenty warm.
Any special instructions for washing it?
A shopper on Nov 5, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Per Klim, they recommend either hand washing, or using the delicate cycle on a washing machine in warm water with liquid detergent as it is less abrasive. Do not use Bleach. Do not use Fabric Softener. Do not Dry Clean. Do not Iron. Hang the garment to dry. Collect $200 as you pass "GO".
What is the approximate height of this product? Trying to figure out how much 'bunching up' will be taking place on the back of my neck. Thanks.
Anthony Z on Jun 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It's quite long, I usually double it over.
Dose it comes only in gray?
