Alpinestars Neck Warmer
Keeps my neck warm
This was cheap so I bought a couple for me, my wife and my son. My wife complains her neck gets cold on rides and this keeps it warm. It is soft and cozy, although it does bunch a little. I'm not sure if I like this or my thin cycling balaclava better, it's a toss up. My son is in Germany and it keeps him warm over there on the commute to base.

Protect ya neck! And keep it warm too!
Does its job, keep the throat toasty, and buffers those big bugs. A little tight over the head but that's the only downside, otherwise why not get a stylish Astars neck warmer!

Better than expected!
I bought this as something to help take the edge off the very cold wind when riding home at 2 am from work. I haven't tried any other neck warmers but this one completely eliminated the wind chill of 25 degree air. It doesn't say it anywhere but it stops about 90% of the air coming through, and let's just enough in to stop the sweating and gives breathability.
I give this 10/10, especially considering the price!

Great product for the price.
This product is pretty basic, but I find it has been super effective. It is a simple double layered polyester fleece. It feels a bit bulky under my jacket's collar cause its a one size fits all, and I am a small girl with a short neck. That aside it's super comfy, and blocks the wind and cold surprisingly well for having no specific windblock features. It's not rainproof at all, but this has not proved a problem as my helmet and jacket block any significant rain that would hit my neck. I love in Seattle, so it's cold but not freeezing, and I'm basing this review on my daily commute experience, which is mostly at speeds under 60.

Awesome neck warmer for cooler weather
This thing is great, it keeps the wind off my neck during cooler rides. Sometimes it can be tricky when keeping it above your chin, only because I like to have it go through my helmet strap too. It's not any reason to knock it any stars. I also find that I wear it when it isn't as cool outside, another layer of protection from anything flying towards you, I will definitely get some sort of neck sleeve for warmer weather to protect myself. Get it!

No frills "Turtle Fur"
This is basically the same thing you'll get at a ski resort but with an Alpinestars logo. It does the job well, but it's nothing special. I have to pinch mine in my lips as I put my helmet on, otherwise it gets pushed down complete below my helmet and my chin gets cold. My neck and chin stay warm as long as I put it on with care.

I just received this neck warmer and used it on a 100 mile ride in pretty chilly weather (around late 30s-early 40 degrees). It's very light and subtle and was really comfortable. I definitely noticed the difference. I should have bought one of these ages ago! I gave the protection and durability a high score but I haven't really had it long enough to tell how well it will wear and last.
