A must have for cooler weather riding
This neck warmer is a must have for cold/cool weather riding. The micro-fleece material is quite comfortable and seems to perform well even in sub zero temperatures. This is a great piece of winter gear to have for both on and off the bike.

Great product for the price.
This product is pretty basic, but I find it has been super effective. It is a simple double layered polyester fleece. It feels a bit bulky under my jacket's collar cause its a one size fits all, and I am a small girl with a short neck. That aside it's super comfy, and blocks the wind and cold surprisingly well for having no specific windblock features. It's not rainproof at all, but this has not proved a problem as my helmet and jacket block any significant rain that would hit my neck. I love in Seattle, so it's cold but not freeezing, and I'm basing this review on my daily commute experience, which is mostly at speeds under 60.

Warms the neck!
I commute across Lake Washington every day, so I needed something to keep my neck dry and warm. This neck warmer does the job. It's soft and does not itch at all.

Great neck warmer
Used this a bunch on a recent trip from WVa to Fla and back. Temps were down around 30 degrees Fht one morning but my neck was comfortable while riding. Also wore it on my head in the tent during the night with temps down to 30 and stayed comfortable. Would have been in trouble without this.

Does the Job
This neck warmer gets the job done! I am a commuter driving to and from work. At night it gets around 50 degrees plus wind chill and my neck is completely warm and cozy. Definitely pick one up!

Great product at a greater price
I like to wear a neck 'protector' all year long. This fits the bill as it will be warm in the cooler months, but is not too hot in the summer.

Toasty warm and comfortable!
My old fleece neck warmer had worn out so i bought this on clearance. It's easy to put on, very comfortable and warm enough for near freezing temps. Very high quality as with most Alpinestars products. I love it.

Awesome neck warmer for cooler weather
This thing is great, it keeps the wind off my neck during cooler rides. Sometimes it can be tricky when keeping it above your chin, only because I like to have it go through my helmet strap too. It's not any reason to knock it any stars. I also find that I wear it when it isn't as cool outside, another layer of protection from anything flying towards you, I will definitely get some sort of neck sleeve for warmer weather to protect myself. Get it!

Protect ya neck! And keep it warm too!
Does its job, keep the throat toasty, and buffers those big bugs. A little tight over the head but that's the only downside, otherwise why not get a stylish Astars neck warmer!

Keeps warm and covers up the only place left on my body that got chilly when riding on the colder days with all my gear on. Good price, good function, good fit.....no need to spend a crazy amount of money on something as simple as a neck warmer.

Winter neck protection that also allows me to contain iPhone earbuds from jacket to helmet (under the cloth). Excellent for dry cold and keeping wind from your jacket and/or helmet.

What are the dimensions on this item???
Alexander R on Nov 6, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Without taking out a tape measure this might help:
I wear a 16 1/2" shirt and it fits snuggly around my neck, it is tight to pull on over my head.
Regarding the height, it will sit below the jacket collar (mine is actually collerless) and easily pull up into the helmet to cover my face. I don't like that feeling so I just go over my chin.
Cuts the cold & wind beautifully.
Will this neck warmer cover the nose and mouth? Also is it breathable?
A shopper on Nov 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It can cover your nose and mouth but it may not stay on well once you slip your helmet on. It is breathable to some extent.
