Repping that Z1R, notice the minor scuffs on the sleeve from the lowside.
I love this jacket! Looks really stylish and the removable panels really do make a difference when riding in the hot weather. I've lowsided with this jacket at ~40 MPH and it held up well. I walked away without a scratch and the sleeve and shoulder on the side I went down on had minor damages; the stitching held together perfectly. Great protection in the shoulder and elbows, and has a slot to put a back protector (have to purchase separately).

Due to the removable sleeve panels, and internal liner, this is a good 3 season jacket. Good for 40f - 85f. When my car died the jacked worked fine in the low 20s for short (<20min) rides. Above 80f, traffic is no fun; But if you are moving, its all good.
If the leather was not perforated, it would likely be better in the cold. The liner is only a vest, no liner in the sleeves.
My girlfriend says it makes me look like iron man (black and red).
It does fit a bit tight, which is a good thing, but also a bit short. (I wear a Large, and I'm 6' @ a lean 180lbs)
The protection in it is great, the forearms & could protect me from a steel beam failing on my head...or a cast iron frying pan.

I am 6'3" 220 athletic build, broad shoulders, and the XL fits perfect. I bought the blue trimmed jacket as it matches my current ride and I see it as a more universal color. I wore it on a 90° day and air flowed extremely well with the side panels out. The armor is unobtrusive and looks natural. The back armor that comes with the jacket is just a rubber pad. You may want to purchase the real CE back armor along side the jacket.
My only complaint is the textile zip out panels that run up the side, from the cuff to the waist. The zippers feels flimsy and on my left panel where the button snap is at the elbow there is a tear in the stitching. I received it that way and am currently in conversation with RevZilla about replacement. They seemed willing to help.

The jacket fits true to size. It is very nice looking, a bit stiff initially. I should losen as I wear it more often. It is comfortable when riding. The back protector seems a bit lite, however, it can be replaced if needed. The jacket has one pocket in the left side, enough for wallet and blackberry and a larger storage pocket in the mesh for the side panels. No exterior pockets. Overall, a great buy at this price point.

I think this jacket is perfect for day or night rides. The open ventilation has helped me stay cool even while riding in 100 degree weather.
