It's only a spare replacement face shield This is a replacement shield to replace the original shield that is still perfect but I figured with the way the price has gone up since last mid year with these shields when I purchased the helmet I figured I better have one on hand now if and when the need arises. Plus I won't have to wait for one to arrive or wait for the availability due to no stock which has also been an issue, or pay even a higher price at a later date... I agree with the others that say the tint is light enough not to impair vision during night-time riding and was the reason for choosing the tinted shield over clear with hope that it doesn't show handling smudges - lint or light scratch that you usually see with the clear. I didn't want to comment on rating the following but it was required to grade the following but it has no bearing for a shield, mainly it's for the helmet itself so disregard my grading on: Style - Comfort - Features - Air Flow January 11, 2013
Great shield- Very Pricey Shield is great. Does not fog easy on cold mornings. Easy to install on the Evoline Series 3. Does it need to cost that much?!?! November 12, 2012
No other visor available Not a very good design, but if you have the helmet and like that you don't have a choice. September 17, 2012

Worked as expected I just used it first time yesterday. It did provide added glare protection combined with the inner visor as hoped. I was a little uncomfortable once dusk arrived, but maybe I'll get used to it. July 16, 2012
Hard to find but Revzilla came through! I had a hard time finding this face shield. Heard a few times that Shark seemed to be pulling out of U.S.market. Revzilla had the best price I could personally find. And although the price still seemed a bit much, I appreciate that they at least had it in stock. Thank you Revzilla. June 11, 2012
Expensive but great Shark makes a great helmet. Full flip-back is the best. Had one b4 & ordered a replacement and ordered and extra faceshield since couldn't find one for previous helmet. June 5, 2012
Faceshield is distortion free It's a faceshield, not much more to say, nice and clear, fit was excellent, a little pricey, guess that's the price for quality. May 28, 2012

Yes, the Shark Evoline Faceshield will fit the original Evoline as well as the Evoline 2.

the definatly need a main shield thats silver or mirrored. it would look great and be the perfect combo to the internal visor for sunny days. If anyone comes across this please let me know. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

At this time Shark is only importing Clear and Smoked faceshields. They have not given us any indication that other tints will be brought to the USA.
