RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Jim S: I chose this as a helmet for my wife and daughter for when they're on the back. It's very reasonable quality for the price. Sep 14, 2014
Necati C: It is a Snell-2005 approved helmet with 4 star SHARP rating. For this much security it is a great bargain. Feb 25, 2014
M K: Snell 2005 approved, so good until 2017 and it was cheap for someone like me who doesn't race often Feb 21, 2014
A S: Great price, helpful reviews Jan 3, 2014
Jordon M: I bought this as an upgrade from my EXO 400 Nov 16, 2013
Johnnie B: It's a helmet. Nov 4, 2013
Charlie K: Cost, review (yours + Web bike world) - great lower priced option for my kids! Oct 24, 2013
Craig Y: I chose this because the price was right. I bought another helmet locally, but this one had a better safety rating for the same amount of money, better noise ratings and looked a lot sleeker than the other. Also because of RevZilla's impeccable reputation for service. Sep 12, 2013
L E: recommendation and price Aug 19, 2013
David S: Scorpion helmets are teh buziness. Aug 12, 2013
A shopper asked: What type of head shape helmet is the exo 700? round oval? Feb 22, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Kevin W: I would say it is an intermediate oval shape. I have a Shoei X-11 and this helmet puts slightly less pressure on my forehead than the Shoei. I wear a L in the Shoei and XL in the exo 700. Both fit snug for me. Mar 19, 2012

Mike0000: It is an intermediate oval shape, or at least that's what I read on webBikeWorld. I have a long oval head shape and it's a bit tight in the forehead, but I am on the narrow head-shape end of the spectrum. Aug 19, 2012

Gmon: My head is a little of both, more oval though. It fits me good, I have no complaints. Aug 20, 2012

A shopper asked: Can you close the vents on this helmet? I don't see anything on the outside to do so. And if so, is it easy to do with gloves on? Sep 11, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
William D: Yes you can close the vents. All the vents Are on outside of the helmet. The one by your chin is very easy to adjust. There are two over the visor over each eye and they're also easy to open and close with gloves. There's one more about fourhead level and it is a little harder to open and close with your gloves. I would adjust this before or after a ride. I believe there is one more in the back of the helmet and this is harder to adjust open and close while riding. Overall it a great helmet the visor sometimes got a little foggy but wasn't too bad. Hope this helps – Billyday Sep 16, 2013

A s: Yes, you can. the chin vent is closed by small black handle right in the bottom centre of the helmet right below the shield and top one is a small thing above the "scorpion" symbol above the shield. I think there is one at the top back of the helmet but I don't remember the exact location of the top of my head.
And yes, you can close all of them with gloves on.

Andrew D: Yes. There are six closable vents on the helmet... chin, center forehead, two eyebrows and two exits.

The chin and center forehead have small sliders. The eyebrow vent covers slide and the exit vent covers also slide. Everything can be operated with gloves on.

Great helmet, good value.

Melissa P: Yes: it might not be easy to do while riding, because there are several (I try to set them before starting out), but they are either switches or buttons that are fairly easy to manipulate. Sep 16, 2013

A shopper asked: How does this helmet compare to the HJC FG-17?
In trying on helmets in various stores, I would choose a Lg in the Shoei Qwest or an XLg in the HJC FG-17. In measuring my head, I come up with 22 1/2" which most charts call a medium. There is no way i can wear a medium in any brand. What size should I choose for the Scorpion EXO - 700?
Sep 20, 2013

Mackinley R: I have 3 helmets. 2, 3/4s helmets, both medium, one is slightly big. And this helmet, size large, and it is tight. As a full face should be. Hope this helps. Sep 22, 2013

RevZilla: This helmet will not accommodate a Bluetooth device. There's not enough space inside to stick the speaker. Mar 28, 2013
