AGV GP-Tech Helmet

Great Helmet! Really Great helmet couldn't be happier with it. The fit is perfect for me and the colors are beautiful (I got the the black one). The helmet wights almost nothing and surprisingly quiet. The inside materials are of high quality and are really soft. Great ventilation system. I recommend it for everyone. The only down side of the helmet is its price. December 4, 2010
Better than Good but not Phenomenal. I'd say it fits close to true to size. The shell sizes between Medium and Large changes so there's a huge difference between the fit of the two. The shield that came with the helmet is almost impossible to fog up. When putting this helmet on for the first time it was a squeeze to get my head in. Once in though the helmet fits perfectly aside from a fair amount of pressure on my cheeks, but that happens with almost every helmet I've tried. April 10, 2010

Amazing I own 2 AGV GP-Tech helmets (Black; Red-Combat). Quality is great. Helmet has nice circulation but it doesn't seem that I can stop all circulation by closing all the vents. Wind-noise is minimal. And replacing the face shield is incredibly simple. I switch between clear at night and iridium blue during the day. January 26, 2010

I like the GP Tech plus I am a Rossi fan. But, in the video reviewing the product, I learned that the GP Tech is designed for the tuck position and not a normal every-day riding position. Does it mean it's not comfortable or ideal for more a position where you sit straight or at a small angle? Thanks!

Answer: 
Comfort is not a factor, it's all about viability. In all honesty, you can use any helmet in any scenario, however certain helmets are designed specifically to function more efficiently in certain scenarios. For instance, the GP-Tech is a race helmet which is designed to function best in a tuck and 3/4 position because of its aerodynamic shape and ventilation design. If you are in an upright riding position you are not going to be taking advantage of the helmets key features. The GP-Tech will not ventilate as efficiently as a helmet like the RX-Q, which is specifically designed for upright riding.

Was wondering what black I get if I order a black agv gp tech helmet? Is it gloss black or the flat black with gp tech on the side of the helmet ?

Answer: 
The AGV GP-Tech Helmet is only available in the solid colors black and gun metal gray, both of which are finished with a clear coat. The GP-Tech is not available with a matte or frost finish.
