Nice heated grips I made this installation under my new ISO grips. It was quite a challenge since fit was really tight. I had to grind down inside of the ISO. Once I did that, the rest was not that difficult. Wire connectors that come with the kit are really nice. Instructions are printed. I even called Heat Demon with some questions and they were able to answer all of them. Overall it's nice design and function. My recommendation is to take your time with the install. May 6, 2013
Poor Quality, Poor Instructions, PITA! We just bought two sets of these for our bikes and knew it was not a "simple" install, but my husband is very capable with bike mechanics and maintenance. After 3 afternoons trying to get one set on his bike installed and working, he ripped it all out and threw it in the garbage.... First of all, the directions are a couple pieces of paper with poorly written instructions. They jump from version A install to Version B and back again. The wiring diagrams are also confusing and do not clearly indicate WHICH diagram to use. The package also doesn't come with connectors for the battery as other heated products do. The wiring harness at the controller is of very poor quality. The 3 controller wires should be inside a protective sleeve, rather than loose, so as to prevent being compromised during installation. The wires, at the entry point of the controller is a very poor design — This is where the wires enter the handlebar and as such, should be designed so as to prevent/avoid any cutting/breaking/pinching. I can't believe we spend almost $300 on these getting them shipped up to Canada... what a mistake. April 10, 2013
Griso grip heaters Well thought out , high quality grip heaters & switch that allows you to make an oem looking installation. It takes quite a bit of patience and a bit of skill to properly layout, drill, and work the wiring through the bars. You need to check and then re-check that all the connections are going to be hidden and made properly. I used the left side turn signal housing as a junction box and made all the connections in there. Probably not a job for a novice but certainly doable if youre comfortable making the electrical connections and have patience.. Absolutely worth the effort if you desire factory looking switchgear with 4 levels of heat instead of a cheap looking hi /lo toggle switch to control your grips. Installed on 2012 Moto Guzzi Griso This kit would work for anyone with hollow handlebars 7/8" or 1" . January 28, 2013

Hi I would like to install these on my Kawasaki Ninja 400r (Basically same as 650r). Would these fit a Ninja?

Also how is the install? Do you have to drill your handlebars?
