Now your bike can have an "Air ride for your hand". Avon Cruiser Air Cushion Grips are manufactured with a special core bar that creates air pockets inside the grip body. These air pockets dampens vibration and help eliminate the tingle in your hands and soften the overall feel of the ride.
Theses grips also feature a very unique throttle sleeve that comes complete with interchangeable throttle cams. This makes it possible for a single set of grips to fit multiple bikes.
Love them...My hands don't go numb anymore from the vibration of the bike. Thank you.

would buy again
I purchased these because i wasnt sure if i wanted to keep the bars on my bike. I did not want to spend the money on the Ness grips or Kuryakyn grips only to change the bars out.
These grips are very comfortable, and i like them even more than my old Kyryakyn grips..
Leaving Durability blank as they have only been on the bike for a month. They seem pretty durable though.
Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Excellent grip but fit is difficult
Bought the metric grips for use on a 1998 Honda Shadow. Unbelievable increase in feel from the old standard grips. They actually added length to the bars and provide a much more secure grip.
Here is the problem. Instead of using the stock throttle sleeve, the Avon uses its own. Not a problem by itself because it is pretty simple to do, but not near as easy as a glue-on. The circumference of the throttle sleeve on the Avon is larger than on the stock grip. As a result, if you do not have any slack in your cables, when you install the grips the tension is too high, resulting in either an impossible install or a throttle that will not close automatically. In my case, I had no extra play in the cables, meaning that my adjustments were already maxed out. When I installed the grips, the throttle would not close and the install was really difficult since the cables were too short. (already lengthened as much as possible). So, I ordered new cables that had an extra 1.3 inches. Still too short. Cables are lengthened all the way, but I still have some binding when the bars are turned all the way to the right.
All of that being said, I would not go back to the stock grips. However, I think I would seriously have to want these grips knowing the trouble with the install. (had to pull the tank and reroute cables, disassemble numerous times, etc.). If the cables are long enough to avoid install issues, then install would be pretty simple.

chris p:I suggest checking out the Avon web site and finding the model grips that fit your bike. Avon has instructions for the installation of the grips and they will differ between models. Sorry but I don't have the site address handy. May 21, 2015
