Regardless of what type of bike you ride, the Throttle Boss will make riding any distance more comfortable. Designed to fit any type or size grip, the Throttle Boss can be installed in seconds to provide a cushioned "platform" to rest one's palm. When not in use, it can be quickly removed without tools and stowed in a jacket pocket or tool bag.
Available in Standard or Wide sizes
Throttle Boss attaches to the end of most twist-grip style throttles
Allows rider to maintain steady throttle position with a relaxed grip
Gradually slips on V-strom stock grips
Product operates more-or-less as expected, however there is not enough tension to maintain secure positioning on the stock handgrip of my 2006 Suzuki DL-1000. It is necessary to reposition the device after about 10 minutes of operation, since it gradually rotates downwards until it's no longer effective. This product would probably work better on thicker grips, or perhaps the space could be shimmed out with a piece of inner-tube or similar. (I have not attempted this, call me lazy.)
I have a Kuryakyn "Throttle Rocker" which I've found to hold it's position much better.

This gizmo does help hold a steady throttle against the return spring. Takes a lot of strain off your right hand. Will see how it holds up over time. So far seems pretty handy.

Easy to use, but slips too much
A good throttle boss needs to be thin and stay in place. Unfortunately this one is too thick to be really comfortable and simply won't stay in place. I thought the rubber strap would lock right onto my rubber grip, but it's too slippery.
On the plus side, the rubber easily stretches around my 7/8 grips and the rubber hook works great. It's one piece and looks like it will last a long time. If only it stayed where I wanted it.

Love this throttle boss. Unlike the larger ones this one is u
Unlike the larger throttle bosses this one is unobtrusive. With others I was always afraid when coming to a stop that I would inadvertently press down on the throttle boss (giving max. throttle) at the very time I intend to brake. Not an issue with this size. Even though I have a "real" cruise control for long flat streches of road, I can use this throttle boss when I'm off and on the need for cruise. This is a great hand saver. I just rest the heel of my hand on the Kuryakyn Universal Throttle Boss and easily manage the road while not fatiguing my hand. I travel around the globe. Carry one of these with me to place on rentals. Usually walk off and leave on the rental though!
