Amazing looking jacket, nice features for price
This is an excellent jacket overall, finding a nice looking leather jacket that is comfortable and has all the protection features can be quite tough, but I feel this jacket fits the bill perfectly. The protection feels very substantial and I would trust this jacket protecting me in a fall. I have installed the optional back pad which is a nice feature and offers an extra level of back protection. The leather on this jacket is supple, it is not some thick hide that needs to be broken in, it feels nicely worn and makes the jacket fit to your body very well. Speaking of fit I actually find this jacket to fit a little large, which is surprising to me considering it is an Italian brand. I am 6'2" and weigh about 180 lbs. Athletic build but thin frame. I originally ordered a 54 (U.S. size 44) because I wear a 44 jacket size in general, but that size actually had quite a bit of extra room in the torso and body. I would expect an Italian leather jacket to have a much slimmer fit. Also, the sleeve length was actually abundantly long which, for me is shocking as I have these long monkey arms (my wingspan is about +3'' over my height) so almost every jacket I have ever worn has sleeves that are too short. I ordered the next size down though and the jacket fits quite well. The sleeves still have enough length for my long appendages, the torso is a bit slimmer and more form fitting, and overall it feels to fit to my body a bit better. Something to consider when ordering if you have similar dimensions as myself. Other than that the jacket is highly recommended, I am enjoying it so far.

Amazing quality and awesome look.
I wanted a really nice quality cafe racer jacket and was hesitant on how much nicer the buffalo leather would be over cow-hide. It's so much more premium feeling and comfortable. I live in southern california and its not too hot when you get moving. The silk feeling inner liner feels fantastic and the exterior leather really makes me feel like I bought something well above its price point. The armor is so well placed that I often forget I have armor on at all. It seriously is my favorite jacket to ride around on and not to mention it has a fantastic design to it.

I'm 5'10 and 230 pounds so I have a bit of a gut. I bought a E58/US48 and it fits perfectly. My only complaint would be that the arms do look like they're ment for someone with longer arms but it is hardly an issue when I button it up. The zips are easy to grab when you're on the bike and the leather breaks in nicely to you. The armor is easily removable as well if you want to wear it out just as a cool jacket which I've done before. If you remove the armor it slims down and has a very nice proportion and profile for a genuinely cool leather jacket. Received dozens of compliments and love my purchase!

Great Looking Jacket
You simply can't beat a buffalo leather jacket. It's a sleek and stylish look that's quality made. Gets a bit hot but that can be expected. The included pads are a bonus, and I like the satin lining as well as the inside hat pocket. The zippers are quality and have a nice style as well. This is a great jacket with a really hip look.

solid spring and fall jacket
i bought this jacket because of the classic style. It is elegant in that it doesn't need to flashy. The fit was perfect to the size chart. It has minimal air flow with no perf but that's I said spring and fall. The leather is awesome quality and the additional back protector is worth the cost. The over quality is amazing the styling is timeless, I will be able to pass this on to my kids and grand kids.

Great jacket for road riding
Was looking for a jacket for road riding, comfortable enough to be worn for short or long rides. The Spidi Ring fits the bill. Comfortable, great fit. Got a bit of a 'lived in' look so not stiff and shiny. Dpes have shoulder and elbow armor but wish the back protector came fitted as standard, in a pocket though. Otherwise perfect. Giving it a 4/5 as I don't have any other leathers to compare with . Happy customer. Good communications from the team at Revzilla. Cheers.

PERFECT for me
This Jacket is an amazing value. I can truly say it is BETTER than what I expected. Fits very nice! I got a size 52. I am 5'11, 180lbs. The alignment of the pads are perfect. Literarily pulled it out of the box and went riding.

I do not like the Spidi logo patch and would have prefered it unbranded... I am looking for a patch to place on top of it. Any suggestions, let me know. It would be cool is there was a ZLA patch I could use.

This product worth for a vintage style
I was looking for an alternative style to my other jacket (Alpinestars Jaws) and I found on this Spidi Jacket. At my first day using it, I have suffered a minor crash and the leather still good. HAHAH!

Did not like:
1. Inside pocket. Its too big and objects are always loose inside it.
2. The front zipper also is hard to open o close the jacket.

I would recommend it. Its a vintage leather by Spidi and its good for going out for a dinner, for example.

Awesome entry level leather from a high brand name
I've had leathers from a few different vendors, most of my jackets have been around the 200-250 price range, so with this one I decided to spend a little more because of the name. I know that sounds superficial but still, its a nice looking jacket.

Anyways, the jacket arrived super fast and I only selected the basic shipping, so I know the guys at revzilla are moving as soon as my order came in, which is a big plus.

Jacket came in perfect condition, totally new condition.

I'm 6'4", 220lbs with a 36" waist (stop breaking my balls I'm working out). I got an XL and it fits fine. The sleeves, waist, chest, everything.

The only concern I have about the jacket was with the zippers. The actual zippers are well protected by the leather surrounding the pocket, but the little zipper tabs that you pull to open and close dangle alot.

I overcame that issue by simply tucking the tab into the zip line and letting the leather lining hold it there.

On the sleeves where my arms come out, I put the zip tabs out and then close the wrist button OVER it so it holds it in place. Voila, no dangling anywhere.

Chest is a bit loose on me, guess I gotta hit my pecs a little harder in the gym, or fill it in with a chest protector.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a decent jacket they can wear spring/summer/fall.

Also, breathability is good, I got this jacket at the end of summer and fall is starting up so I'm not sure how it will handle the cold.

Great jacket but the shoulder pads makes it look a little bulky.
The jacket is good. Good leather, protection where you need it especially the optional back armor. It looks good although it will need a proper break in period. It would be the perfect jacket if only the fit was better. Tight over the chest, big over the shoulders, bulky over my gut. (Don't mind that as much as the top half)

Great looking jacket
I'm really enjoying this jacket. It looks great and fits well. My one complaint is that none of the spidi back protectors fit in it. You can stretch the liner to get the velcro to line up with their various sized protectors, but it just hangs there and doesn't feel integrated in any way. I've had to return both the Warrior Evo L2 and the Warrior L2 because neither fit. At this point I'm going to hire a tailor to stitch a pocket into the liner to fit a 3rd party back protector.

Long story short, its a great jacket, but if back protection is a priority, look elsewhere.

Described as "thin" with leather thickness at 1.1mm, but I have felt the RSD 'City' leather jacket and that jacket feels thick with similar leather thickness (official description of thickness on RSD jacket is between .9 ~ 1.1mm) ... So is it as thick as RSD leather and RSD should also be considered "thin", or is there something else to these measurements that I am not understanding?
james m on Jul 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I don't know how the RSD jacket feels. But I really like this jacket, it feels thick enough for me.
I have this Jacket. I am interested in getting a back plate for it but I'm not sure which one. I don't care really what it costs, I just want the best fitting, thinnest one available. Can you please make a suggestion?
Crawford P on Aug 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I've tried both the Warrior L2 and the Warrior Evo L2. Neither fit properly. You can get them in place, but they hang off the loose liner and easily get pulled off when carrying the jacket around. I'm going to try to get a pocket tailored to fit a third party protector.
I'm 5'10", but my chest measures 42". This doesn't appear compatible in the sizing chart. Which dimension is the most important? Or am I better off with a different jacket?
A C on Jun 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I'm a little shorter than you at 5'8". The jacket is ever so slightly long in the sleeve, coming down to the knuckle connecting my palm and thumb if I undo the button and zipper. This is pretty normal for me as I have an oddly chest-heavy build. Odds are if you like a slim fit, you'll be fine in 42, you might see a bit of wrist when you ride. If you like a looser fit and are worried about the length you can probably go a size up without any issue.

I'd say pick your best assumption, save all the tags and packaging, so exchange the size if the fit doesn't work out.
Yes! Please do a review. I want this but cant pull the trigger because of lack of info. What does it fit like, is it warm, good enough for 4 seasons of a mild climate etc?
Paul V on Apr 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I purchased this but returned it due to the fit (I am slim and ordered the smallest, but needed something even smaller). All four seasons might be a stretch - summer may get hot in it. There is no removable extra lining, but the elbow and shoulder pads are removable. The leather looks great on it though.
