Not perfect but still a good investment So far I've rode about a 1,000 miles with this seat. The firmness is about right and the rounded shape allows me to move around. My one complaint is that the edge of the seat is a little sharper than I would like. I notice it the most when I come to a stop and put my legs down. Compared to the stock seat though this is a dream. The stock seat was so painful I could barely walk after a couple hours. This seat was definitely a good investment. September 6, 2012

Sargent Seat for BMW f650gs For those who own BMW f650gs models, you probably know the stock seat is a horrible design. It is an inch short in the rear so rain leaks in and floods your electronics, it is terribly uncomfortable on rides longer than 1/2 hour, and it doesn't have a storage compartment for your rider's manual. Sargent fixed everything on the list above and the form, fit, and finish is second to none (and it is made in the USA, too!). I especially like the silver welt, but would have preferred sun yellow if RevZilla offered that option (it is a Sargent option). See my video on the installation of this seat and you will most likely buy one for your BMW. August 13, 2012

The seat is a far cry better if you are looking to ride for more than 100 miles in a clip. This seat is a real butt saver that makes the F650 able to be ridden for several hundred miles a day... August 6, 2012

Thousands times better than the stock seat! As anyone who owns a F650GS or an F800GS knows, the stock seat is painfully uncomfortable for the long haul. This seat does a great job of increasing the comfort, I just put 1000 miles on it and didntt have a single gripe. It does put you back on the seat further than stock. It also allows you to stand up unhindered. Great seat both on and off road. Highly recommended. June 11, 2012
