Great for 3-Season Riding
I got this jacket in black/white in a size 56 and I also ordered the back protector (SeeSoft size 05). I have worn it in the fall and winter in Baltimore with the liner and back protector in and it kept me fairly warm in temps down to the mid 30's. I made a 600 mile road trip from Balt. to South Carolina in January, in temps ranging from 22-43 degrees and with an Olympia rain top over it, I was cool but not cold. I figured out early in the trip that if I wore something over my head (and under my helmet) I was quite comfortable in the cold with that setup. I have now worn it all spring in SC and it does flow a good amount of air to the chest area and a faint amount along the stretch panels in the arms, but I am not wearing this jacket past the 80 degree mark. For that, I just bought the Revit! GT-R Air which I have not reviewed yet because I haven't spent enough time with it. The GT-R leather jacket in size 56 and the GT-R Air in a size Large both fit me perfectly. And the back protector can be switched between jackets so that's a plus. I also added the Athos Hi-Viz vest too, in a Large and it fits both jackets perfectly. The zipper on the opposite side is something I had to get used to but after a few times it feels natural. The armor is good stuff and stays in place. The leather will loosen up the fit a little bit over time but not enough to make the elbow armor flop around. I prefer to wear leather as much of the year as possible because it gives the greatest protection. I am very happy with the style, quality and performance of this jacket. For sizing reference, I am 5'8", 188lbs, 42" chest, 35" waist, and 32-33 dress sleeve.

Sick Jacket
I was blown away by the quality, fit and finish of this jacket. The style of this jacket is wonderful and I would recommend it to anybody. Wish it came with back protector instead of having to buy it separately. Still love this jacket.

Great for those with longer arms
I'm absolutely in love with this jacket. The moment I put it on and zipped it up, it was meant to be. Being 6'5" at 190lbs and a 40in chest, it was hard finding something that fit my frame. I went with the size 56 so that I'll have more room and comfort with hoodies but this will fit those of you with 42-44in chests.

The first thing I did when I put it on was check the overall coverage I'll have in the arms when I'm riding. As I did this, I instantly noticed the comfort of the shoulder and elbow protectors. Rev It!, you did this right. Both shoulder and elbow protectors move with your body and will provide the needed protection. The leather, the liner, and zippers, all seem solid. Nothing feels cheap with this jacket.

Excellent blend of safety, build quality and style!
As an owner of a Rev'it CR retro crème coloured jacket(which I searched worldwide to find the last one available in my size 56), I am already a BIG fan of Rev'it products. The fit is race style snug but with much mobility--not restrictive at all and you can feel very protected with the combination of high grade leather and CE armor. Styling is top notch. I went with Black and white and chose this jacket so I had a black one to change things up. Zip out liner is a great option for switching between cold and warm as well the shoulder crests are hard plastic for an extra layer of protection. My only complaint is that the cuffs there the leather travels into the wrist has a friction point with the top of the thumb. Gloves alleviate this but you can feel the think leather rubbing there. Overall a GREAT jacket I got at closeout pricing which really swayed me into purchasing a "extra" jacket. Revzilla is a top notch firm with a very informative website and great customer appreciation. Ride safe--two wheels down. Cheers, Jonas

Love how it fits, feels, and has good styling. Rode with it in the colder weather and has kept me warm, but also breathes well. Excited to see how it is without the liner in the summer.

A good leather jacket
I bought this jacket and the GT-R pants for a track day in July. Even though it was a hot July day and there is minimal perforation on this jacket the stretch panels did a good job of flowing air. The jacket is comfortable and well made.

As always Revzilla made it easy to exchange the jacket when I initially ordered the wrong size.

You get what you pay for.
This is the first leather jacket I have ever bought so I was a bit hesitant about the price tag. After receiving the jacket and wearing it for a ride I am very happy with my purchase.

The fit of this jacket is great for me. I am 6' and 155 pounds, tall and slender, I went with the size 48. I never liked how bulky most leather jackets look on skinny guys and this jacket fits my profile perfectly. The front of the jacket ends right at my belt line, so wearing your shirt tucked in is the way to go. The back of the jacket covers past my belt. The stretchy material in the inner arm is so perfect. It makes the slim sleeves not too constricting.

The style is what has really drawn me to the gt-r. When wearing it you feel as awesome as it looks. When viewing from the front the only logo really showing is on the collar, which I like. I don't like to have too many logos plastered all over me.

A little bit of reflective material would be nice, but my other gear can compensate for that.

Another big reason why I got this jacket is for the safety. I have seen way to many guys in my small town get road rash while wearing cut-off t shirts and sunglasses. The elbow and shoulder guards make me feel very safe about going down (not that I plan on doing so anytime soon). I like that they are more casual by not being on the surface of the jacket like the REV'IT Stellar's protection is. I most likely will never buy back protection for this jacket unless I decide I want to take my bike to the track.

The features of the two front pockets are nice. They are hidden away where you can notice them or the zipper. The only con is that I can barely fit my full hand in them. The smooth mesh inside of the jacket is really nice too, allowing me to slip in and out of it easily. The left handed zipper was a bit awkward for me at first but no biggie.

All in all this is a great and very stylish jacket. I plan on wearing it for many years.

Also it looks really great with my OGIO No Drag Mach 5 backpack!!!

Good jacket, mean looking style, but would be nice to include some sort of entry level back protector considering the amount of money spent for it.

Excellent Jacket - Best one yet!
This is my second REV'IT jacket and I must say, I absolutely love this thing. I'm about 5'11", 42" chest and muscular build weighing in at 200 lbs. Initially, I had to return my size 52 jacket and buy the size 54 because I literally felt like I was going to bust out of the 52 and it looked like the front was a belly shirt for women. Needless to say, this jacket is so good looking, and has very nice protection - my only gripe is that it doesn't have reflective features and I do not think it's good for riding below 60 degrees. The airflow is way too intense for cold riding - which is awesome for the summer. Buy this jacket before they're all gone! I highly recommend it.

The fit is pretty tight but that might just be me as it's my first jacket. Getting it on and off is more difficult than a regular jacket. Once it's on it feels great. In cold weather it is warm.

Color, style, design, protection and quality. As the years go by I am learning what brands and sizes fit me best. I'm thin/athletic build and rev-it definitely matches my profile. I love A-stars, they make quality products but they mostly just do not fit me right.

Does Rev'it make a leather pant that compliments this jacket but does not scream "knee-dragger?"
Mark H on Jul 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Gear 2 has a short & long connection zipper. No short/tall sizes and it's just straight black but I think it'd look fine. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-gear-2-leather-pants
Does this jacket get longer sleeves and overall length as the size increases?
nicholas s on Feb 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would guess so, be sure you know your European sizing as the jacket is a snug fit. I am 6'0 210 and broad shouldered, my size was 56. It's my second Rev'it Jacket and they are AWESOME. Same can be said for REVZILLA-TOP NOTCH COMPANY! Minor gripe is the sleeve where the leather comes to the wrist is a bit stiff and rubs against the top of the thumb joint on one side but that could be a slight difference in my shoulders. Gloves alleviate this and shouldn't keep you from buying it. Great looking jacket on- I went w Black an White as I ride a 2006 Honda VFR800 (solid white w gold wheels) Good Luck and ride safe! Cheers-Jonas
I would like to know if the elbow pads can be removed?
A shopper on Nov 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No. Its stiched up. There is no zipper to remove the elbow pads.
Is this good with jeans and is it a good waterproof?
A shopper on Jul 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: You could wear this with a pair if jeans with no problem. This jacket is not water proof. The stretch panels flow a good amount of air but they would also let rain in pretty easily.
Does the sleeve length and overall length increase as the size increases or is it just the chest and waist widths?
nicholas s on Feb 5, 2016
I have a 37 inch waist and a 37 inch chest. What size do I get?
Nicholas M on Feb 14, 2015
This jacket is only one I've seen since the Icon Seventh Seal that has a stretch collar in the rear. Having worn many jackets, I find that the most discomfort comes from a jacket with a stiff leather collar that obstructs you from putting your head back when tucked. I would really like to see more of these videos show the jacket model on the bike as that is what we are buying these for.

So my question is, what other jackets have that stretch rear section of the collar? What is this feature called so that I can conduct a more narrow search?
The stretch collar is the only way to go
