The REVIT Fluid Neck Collar is lightweight and attaches with a simple Velcro straps and keeps the rider comfortable and in control by zeroing in on the back of the neck where excess heat can build up. Maintaining a cool temperature at this critical zone helps regulate temperature throughout the rest of the body. It works by simply soaking the neck collar in water for a few minutes, then gently wringing it out and wiping it down. Then just wear, ride and repeat. The Fluid cooling collar will stay active for approximately 6 hours on a single charge.

Decent product, works well
BLUF: Good if you are in hot and dry climate. If you live in a humid environment, this will not work well, just as with any other product like this requiring evaporation of water for cooling effect.
I live in Las Vegas, and this did make a difference, especially in 100+ degree weather and of course while in movement. Sitting still at a light it obviously will not help, but it does provide coverage of the neck from the sun which is a plus. Wish the Velco area was longer since the wrap around did overlap too much leaving some loose material. A medium size option would have worked best if available. Also, manufacturer should have considered identifying neck sizing for small or large - I had to research to find out to go with large size. Length of time it works is not as long as claimed and it does not hold much water. This is pricey for what it is, but easy to use in comparison to using a cooling towel.
Side note: Something to consider...the combination of my jacket and the additional noise reduction neck collar of my helmet somewhat diminishes the benefits since it is not as exposed; but nothing against the product in this regard.

The neck collar is a little large and it could be a little wider so cover more of the neck. The collar does supply good covering around the neck and protection from the sun. The cool feeling only last for around an hour. I live in Las Vegas and the Temp is over a 100 this works great

Not a Dramatic Difference
I tried the REVIT Cooling Neck Collar a few times this week in high 80s F. Virginia weather. Fell short of my expectations. The special HyperKewl fabric does not absorb a lot of water as advertised. I suppose this is beneficial for full vests. I found that if I soak my buff and pull over the REVIT neck collar it works much better. The size, fit, and construction is good. I give it a neutral recommendation.
I wear my Klim Badland jacket. So, it can get pretty hot when the temps are in the high 80s and 90s. So, I wet down my neck buff and back of my shirt every couple of hours.

David D: Brutal AZ heat is seeping into the valley. A great friend just started riding and we're going to ice these babies down to cut through the Mojave, then up and over to cool Cali.Mar 30, 2015
Christopher E: To help will cooling in TX summer heat. Doesn't do the job that we'll. My neck tends to get hotter from the blocking of air flow to my neck and the insulation the collar provides, rather than transferring the evaporative cooling effect it was designed to do.Sep 11, 2014

Ted H:Thanks for the info Kevin. Actually I just went ahead and ordered the large shortly after I posted the question. It fits perfectly dry, hopefully it won't gain a lot of length after I soak it.Apr 22, 2014
