Klim D3O T5 EVO Pro XT Replacement Knee/Elbow Pads
I am retofiting an Olympia Mesh jacket with all new protection. P2
The Elbow Pads are exact fits for the jacket pockets int he jacket. As the D3o material heats up it conforms to your contours, which took a little getting used to. The pads don't catch and spin in their pockets lik the OEM pads did.
Really the piece of mind is all that matters.

Will not stay in position.
I don't understand how these pads can be very protective when they are rarely over my knees or elbows. Shouldn't the jackets and padding be designed to allow the protective pads to stay in place? I'm thinking about junking these pads and going with individual wear type pads that stay where I need them. Regarding protection...walk into a door with your shoulder hitting one of these spongy pads and see if it hurts....OUCH!! and that isn't even at 1 mph. What happens at 30 mph, 50 mph...? Hope I never find out!

good but not great
My only gripe with the level 2 d3o pads is they are just not as good as the sas-tec stuff. Both still protect you about the same. Sas-tec tests slightly better. But the d3o is heavier, not as flexible, not as large, and the shape is not as comfortable as the sas-tec stuff. Revzilla needs to start carrying the sas-tec protectors. Also would be great if rev'it started selling their new protectors as they are probably lighter then the sas-tec and d3o by a good amount.

I bought 2 of these as an upgrade in my Klim Induction jacket. The jacket comes with level 1 elbow protectors and I wanted level 2. Fortunately I have not had to test them out!

HOPEFULLY it does what it is supposed to when needed
I replaced the back, shoulder and elbow pads on my Olympia jacket with the D30 armor. I had to trim the 'wings' off the back pad, but I read it could be done and it was easy. My first impression is that it is much more flexible while being much more dense than the Styrofoam type padding that came with the jacket. For the price, I felt it was a great investment in my future health. Hopefully I won't have to find out.

Knee / Elbow,.. maybe as shoulder pad also!
I was very pleased with the quality and flexibility of these Klim D30 T5 Pro XT Knee/Elbow pads. I purchased them to go into the "elbow pockets" inside of a Harley Davidson leather jacket and they fit perfectly. I also purchased a pair of the Klim D30 T5 Pro XT Shoulder Pads and I sent them back because they were too short for the "shoulder pockets" inside of the HD leather jacket. I ordered another pair of these Knee/Elbow pads to use in the Shoulders instead,... The two types of pads are nearly identical, except that the Knee/Elbow pads are about 1/4" narrower at the wide point and 1 1/2" longer "tail" at the bottom of the pad. They fit and stay in position better in the HD leather jacket shoulder pocket, and there is no difference in the thickness or arc shape of the pad.

Bought to replace armor in tourmaster jacket/pants. Fits fine without having to alter the garments or pads themselves. Much more robust and forming than the armor that comes with tourmaster products.

Much more robust than standard armor
This armor was a replacement to for my elbow armor in my Klim Latitude Misano Jacket. I took out the armor and noticed one plate was torn, so I opted for these upgrades. They are much thicker and you can feel the difference when you put on the jacket too. It does flex, just not as much. Oh well, they say it's safer.
