good but not great
My only gripe with the level 2 d3o pads is they are just not as good as the sas-tec stuff. Both still protect you about the same. Sas-tec tests slightly better. But the d3o is heavier, not as flexible, not as large, and the shape is not as comfortable as the sas-tec stuff. Revzilla needs to start carrying the sas-tec protectors. Also would be great if rev'it started selling their new protectors as they are probably lighter then the sas-tec and d3o by a good amount.

Bought it to replace the foam pads that the Klim Mojave pants came with. Lightweight armour that doesn't compromise on safety.

Great Replacement
I used these to replace the armor in my First Gear Kenya jacket. They are much more flexible than the OEM armor. I was very surprised at how thick this armor is and was worried that they would not fit in the pockets of my jacket but they fit with no problem and they give a look of less boxy shoulders than the OEM armor. Arm movement with these pads is much better also. Hope I never have to see if it works.

Another excellent product from KLIM
Excellent design and fits perfectly into KLIM clothing.

I ordered form Revzilla thinking it would come from Revzilla and arrive in a couple of days. Unfortunately, it was drop shipped from KLIM and took a week to receive. Arrived too late for a 2 day NC mountain trip.

Does what you want it to.
These are fantastic but they are a little thick. Granted, this sacrifices the protection but they look kind of ridiculous inside Kevlar jeans. It's like two huge tumors on your knee.

Probably great in other pants that don't show the pad's profile.

HOPEFULLY it does what it is supposed to when needed
I replaced the back, shoulder and elbow pads on my Olympia jacket with the D30 armor. I had to trim the 'wings' off the back pad, but I read it could be done and it was easy. My first impression is that it is much more flexible while being much more dense than the Styrofoam type padding that came with the jacket. For the price, I felt it was a great investment in my future health. Hopefully I won't have to find out.

Nice pad awkward fit
I bought these to replace the stock protection in my Klim mojave pants. Fit is not what I was hoping for. I will modify the pocket to position the pads more securely over the knee but out of the box the pocket in the pants is fairly sloppy. No fault of the protection armor but good to know before you pair them to a set of pants. I thought since I was matching Klim for Klim it would be a more secure fit. Good products as always and it is tough to make this gear better than they do and still be able to price them reasonably.

Very comfortable
I had D30 armor in my Klim gear and liked it so much, I bought a set for my Aerostich gear as a major upgrade. It feels so much more comfortable I found myself avoiding the Aerostich because of its old and far less comfy pads. No more!

Great Protection!
I tried to get the base armor but the elbow pads were on backorder so I ordered these. Great fit in the elbow of my Traverse jacket due to their slimmer profile. Not sure they are worth the extra expense over the regular pads but still great quality.

I did a lot of research about different types of armor and different materials and Although inconclusive D3O came out on top or near the top of everything I read. I'm really happy with this product and I think the pricing is reasonable too!

Decided to replace armor pads in my (at least) 10 year old BMW Airflow jacket. Removed the original BMW ProSafe pads before I washed the bug, salt & sweat stained jacket and found the pads cracked from age, heat & salt. Hoping these fit. Current D30 pad technology offers better protection, flexibility & comfort at a reasonable price.

My $209 Klim Dakar Pants do not come with pads. So at $275 for knee and hip pads, now you can know to shop 250 - 300 dollar pants with pads included. Just an FYI to read and ask if you are not sure. A little Rev-It up on your choices next time....

I got the Klim Traverse jacket and pants for use as touring dualsport gear, worn over armor. However they have also proved to be very comfortable for use in normal commuting and local street travel. So I fit the D3O pads for street riding, and pull the pads out and use my body armor for the dualsport and offroad stuff. The armor pockets in the Traverse gear are well designed, and the swap-out only takes a few minutes.
Christopher E on Nov 26, 2014
The stock armor in my jacket had begun to deteriorate so I bought these as a more comfortable replacement. Not quite as slim as I had hoped (but that's due to the specific model I chose) and it requires some ingenuity to keep them in place, but all around very happy with the purchase.

Will this fit Roland Sands Ronin jacket?
Danil M on May 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The listed measurements are from the D30 site and almost match the product. The knee/elbow pads sold by Klim I received are actually D30 T5 Evo Pro XT knee pads. They are actually 143mmx222mm and 153g vs the 130mmx221mm listed here. The D30 knee pads are slightly larger than the elbow pads so check your pockets. The molded markings on the backside are "T5 EVO PRO K" indicating knee pads, "EN1621-1" protection level and "KES TYPE B" for coverage. They are dual marked as level 1 and 2 protection depending on temperature so the baseline protection level is listed as 1.
Will these fit the knee pockets of Klim Traverse pants?
A shopper on Oct 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have these pads and the traverse pants and while it takes a little work to get them in the pockets, they fit fine once in. My traverse pants are 2 years old but I don't think they have changed them any. The pads are a little heavy but more flexible than the plastic.
Will this fit Joe Rocket Jackets for elbow and shoulder pads?
A shopper on Jun 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I replaced all the pads in my women's Joe Rocket Cleo mesh jacket with these and they fit fine. I got the smaller back pad and it was almost too small, so I use both the original and the D3O. The T5s are supposed to be better in the cold, and I didn't find them any heavier than the first generation set I have in another Scorpion jacket.
will these fit the Mojave pants?
A S on Mar 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: the pads are great the Klim Misano product is not .
I rod on the last rain we had I got soaked and wet
How is this armor compared to the CE vault armor?
Jose S on Jul 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have no clue. However, I'd say the thickness of this armor would be more than sufficient for a knee or elbow. Lots of cushioning.
Will these fit into the Dainese Yamato EVO Pants? I'm looking for Level 2 protection.
Andres R on May 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: What I did was measure the approx size of the knee pocket and discussed on the phone with a rep or perhaps I was able to find the specs to make sure it would fit. If you currently have knee protection, I am sure you can find out if these would fit.
I'm looking to replace the standard d3o armor in my Klim Badlands Pro - apparently this last New Jersey winter was too harsh for them and I managed to crack one of the pads in half from regular movement.

Would you recommend these pads for riding in the winter, or are there other more temperature stable pads that can fit?
A shopper on Mar 13, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The Klim D3O T5 EVO Pro XT Replacement Knee/Elbow Pads will be your best option as they are much more temperature stable when compared to their predecessors.
Is there an estimate of when this will be available?
A shopper on Sep 7, 2012
BEST ANSWER: We have the Klim T5 Pro D30 Elbow / Knee Pads in stock currently. This is an old page. Follow the link below for the updated sku.
Will these fit my Klim Dakar pants?
A shopper on Aug 22, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the Klim D30 Xergo XT Replacement Knee/Elbow Pads will fit inside the Klim Dakar pants.
Will these knee pads fit my Klim Baja pants?
A shopper on Aug 17, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The Baja Pants are designed to be worn with knee braces. That being the case, there are no pockets for knee armor.
