Klim D3O T5 EVO Pro XT Replacement Hip Pads
These are great
Bought because I didn't want to wear a second layer. They fit Klim pants great and hang right on the hip. I don't even know if there in.

Excellent product and perfectly fits KLIM clothing.
Product was drop shipped from KLIM rather than coming from Revzilla.

I had D30 armor in my Klim gear and liked it so much, I bought a set for my Aerostich gear as a major upgrade. It feels so much more comfortable I found myself avoiding the Aerostich because of its old and far less comfy pads. No more!

These fit nicely in my Kevlar riding jeans!
They add great protection for my riding jeans, without being too thick.

Marcel B: Why companies do not put quality hip armor in pants (nor back protectors in jackets) is beyond me. My recent FirstGear HT Air pants had great D3O armor everywhere except the hip, so these were a natural upgrade. They are thicker than the standard D3O hip armor like which are in my FirstGear Escape pants and suit, but feel fine on and off the bike.Apr 15, 2014
Scott L: To go with the Scorpion Covert Jeans I just purchased.Mar 19, 2014
David Y: Had a minor get off and bruised my hip a little. These were recommended by a friend I trust. Supposedly an upgrade even from Sastech.Mar 13, 2014
Ronald C asked:I am thinking about buying this armor to use with the Dakar pants. Will this armor fit in those pants?Oct 12, 2013
Craig C:The Dakar pants have hip and knee pad pockets for pads, so I don't see why they wouldn't fit. If you want to be 100% sure, then I would call Klim. They fit nicely in my traverse pants, but I don't have Dakars to try them in.Oct 12, 2013
Daniel L:No. It is a soft molded piece of armor that is very flexible and durring impact the molecules bind together to provide the protection. It is designed to fit in an "armor pocket". To replace the armor you already have. There are no Velcro or any other attachment devices on it. I have this armor throughout my whole set up. Knees, hips, shoulders, spine, elbows. Hind site is 20/20 after a wreck!Nov 7, 2013
Alvin M:They didn't work in my Joe rocket out of the box. What I did was buy large velcro adhesives which I stuck on the cheap black foam pad that came with the pants and then positioned the velcro on the pad to cover my hip at the bone. The old pad fits the pocket and the velcro keeps the D30 pad positioned correctly.Jan 29, 2014
RevZilla:Though the Baja Pants have small hip pockets, this armor is too large to fit them. However, you can trim these d3O Hip Pads or SAS-TEC Hip Pads to fit without adversely affecting their protective capabilities. You can also gain hip protection by wearing armored shorts.
