Klim D3O T5 EVO Pro XT Replacement Hip Pads
Excellent. Feels soft to light touch but flick it or hit it and it stiffens
There is a lot to this protector. It is not your typical flimsy foam. If you poke it lightly or push down on it lightly it feels like foam but once an impact is inflicted onto it, it turns into a very stiff pad. Even the sound changes depending on the strength of the hit. It stiffens to the point where it feels like the cup on a knee pad. This means it is soft and comfortable while resting next to your hips and the moment an impact happens it strengthens and protects you. They fit perfectly in my KLIM Mojave ITB Pants. They do not float around. Just wish that my pants had knee pockets so I could get the knee pads.

Decent, but could be better
I got these pads to go in my Klim Dakar pants. It seems to me either the pockets which hold the pads are too big or the pads are too small. I think the pads probably should be bigger. I debated getting the MSR D30 Hip Pad instead. That may have been a better option.

Got them for my revit jeans, fit great. Been in 1 crash since I got them, really great protection.

Loose in Dakar pants
Got these pads for my Klim Dakar OTB pants. The hip pad pockets in the Dakar pants are large with no closures. These pads flop around inside.

Fits in Klim Mojave and functions
I took a spill in these on pavement when I hit a slime covered low water crossing. The impact was taken in my knee and hip. Between the mx boots, knee/shin guards, and the Klim hip protectors and Klim Mojave pants I didn't feel a thing. My pants got a little scuffed and covered in green algae but my body was perfectly fine. So, I didn't think the hip protector would be in the right spot but when I hit the ground, it was and did what it was supposed to do.
I am skeptical about the knee inserts though and prefer my strap on knee guards.

I bought these to use in the Rev It Carnaby Jeans, and they work great. On the Carnaby Jeans, if you buy them, they DO fit in the hips, but take a little maneuvering. I was having trouble putting them in, and was about to cut them when my wife figured out a way to get them in there.

Good, but a little small
I had a a pair of nice BILT pants with hip pockets, but no pads. I added these, and they are rugged and feel like a great enhancement to my protection. I would have liked it better if they were just a little larger, but they slip into the pockets easily and, of course, I hope I NEVER need them!

You might be cool....but are you hip?
Ya....these new hip pads have made me better looking. Heck, the girls just won't leave me alone now that I have better hip protection. My testosterone levels are higher now....and I'm pretty sure I can speak Mandarin Chinese (love their little oranges) fluently all of a sudden.
The low-down......they fit in my Klim pants.....don't know they are there.....dig it people!
