Icon Overlord Prime Hero Leather Jacket
Hero Saves the Day
I must admit I purchased this jacket used at a discount which helps me give it more value for its cost. I'm 5'11 200lbs with a wide chest and shoulders so I purchased the XL, the jacket fits me very well with enough room to wear a hoodie underneath but tight enough to keep the armor in place. I tried a size Large in a store and it would have been much too tight.
I have a 30 minute work commute, but with a twist, it's at night and speeds range from 45-80 MPH. I've gotten a chance to ride it in mid 50 °F up to mid 90 °F, where it performed better. This jacket is definitely not for the cold, the arms vent quite well and has no collar to block the wind at the neck, it would have been more versatile if the included liner would have been a full sleeve quilted liner. My arms start to get chilly in the 65-70° F riding at 80 MPH. At a stop in the 90°F range the jacket feels suffocating and it is sweat inducing, once at speed it has enough venting too cool you down. I hear the non-graphic version of this jacket vents better through the chest.
I went down in this jacket while wearing Rev'it! Tornado pants. I fishtailed in to a barbed wire fence and while the mesh, textile pants were shredded to bits, the thick leather and plastic parts on this jacket held up enough for me to keep wearing it. The barbs managed to cut through the leather but it was repairable.
I highly recommend this jacket, I would have rather have gotten it in white, red, with graphic over the black one to help with the heat or even trade the graphic for some more perforation but it is tolerable. If riding with this jacket in the cold get a size large enough to accommodate a thermal layer.

This jacket delivers!
I recently purchased this coat, after about 150 miles of riding this week I'm so glad I did. First, I must say the style is better in person. I had more than a couple compliments.
I'm 5'11" 180lbs. and the medium is a spot on fit. I rode yesterday with a high of 80 degrees and unless I was stuck waiting for a car to trip the sensor at a red light, I didn't even break a sweat! Only possible flaw is the sleeves do not flow as much air as I would like. I just ride with sleeve zippers open and problem solved!
Overall, a phenomenal coat in regards to fit, comfort, style and utility.

Great freaking jacket
I ordered this jacket almost 4 months ago and have worn almost everyday since i commute to work, and i have to say i really like this thing.
The build quality is great, and it flows quite a bit of air. When i rode in Feb i definitely had to base layer because of the amount of air that came in through the sleeve stretch panels. If you are planning on riding it in the cold, get a base layer thats windproof.
Due to the ventilation, it stays pretty cool in 90 degree weather and is super comfortable.
The jacket looks sharp and do get compliments on it. Whenever i read they other reviews i though they were exaggerating, but they werent. Will say the white on the jacket tends to get dirty, but thats to be expected since i ride everyday. I just thought id throw that in here as heads up.
Lastly, the sleeves with the locking zippers actually fit properly around my Alpinestars SPX gloves with the wrist protector, which my other jackets had an issue getting around.
Highly recommend this jacket, well worth the money. Just pull the trigger and buy it!

Best leather jacket I've ever had
This jacket is great. The fit is perfect (I'm a 40us chest and 31in waist, so I got the medium and it fits similar to a 40us Spidi leather suit). It's a little tighter than the medium Icon Overlord Type 1 textile jacket I have. This jacket is more comfortable than the Joe Rocket, Fieldsheer, and First Gear jackets I've had before. I do feel more wind up my sleeves and on my shoulders than I would like from a leather jacket. I haven't tried this in the summer, but I imagine it would be comfortable until the temps got above 85F.

This jacket turns heads
I am 5'6, 175 lbs muscular build and I bought a large. I have about a 43-44 inch chest and I find this jacket fits me very well. If you have a gut, this jacket isn't for you. The lining inside (which is removable) is perfect for the morning chilly rides to work or for those spring/fall type temperatures. This jacket has a serious nice sporty aggressive look to it and I love it. I got the Hi Viz yellow jacket to match my Icon Alliance Hi Viz yellow helmet and trust me, people turn their heads. Its a comfy jacket, well designed, and you get exactly what you pay for. A tad bit heavy at first but what leather jacket isn't? After your first ride you're not even going to notice it. Overall, I would recommend this jacket to anyone who wants that sporty, aggressive looking type jacket, trust me, you're not going to regret it!
The only con I have is that I wish this jacket had more airflow to the chest

I'm 5' 11", 156 lbs. and i got the White with high viz yellow, size Medium. Replaced the shoulder and elbow pads with forcefields. For chest and back protection, I wear Forcefield elites. It's a tight fit but comfortable.
Great looking, high quality jacket. one of the best looking out there imo.
i think Icon's other overlord jackets comes with full perfs on the front and they should do the same with this. And a full inner liner and not just a vest for cooler temps. As it is , you get a lot of air going thru your arms but not on your chest.
Overall, still a great jacket
