Product is great for it's price! This jacket is amazing. It is definitely worth it's price! I highly recommend this product! Great air-flow. Although it is a little heavy but overall this is a great jacket! June 17, 2014
Nice and Snug Too many Pros; so I'll mention the one Con: I knew that the jacket was meant to be worm a little snug, but I find that the size chart isn't really true to measurement. Whatever size it says you are-up it by one size. I would recommend to a friend big time! December 16, 2013
SUPER speed I'm a new rider and this is my first gear. It's been only two days since I bought the jacket. Although I loved it... It looks realy nice and it fits me well. I'm not concerned about protection because it feels like a medieval armor. One thing though that bothers me; it does not have a pocket for the registration papers, but it's OK. You can use the luggage for it..... December 9, 2013
Awesome Jacket The build quality, look/feel, and fit of this thing is truly outstanding. My only critique is that it needs a bit of protection in the back. That being said, you can purchase a back protector from Dianese. November 7, 2013
You get what you pay for Been eyeing this jacket up for awhile to replace my old AStars 2 piece. First off the look and style of the jacket is great. The pockets and venting are well thought out and executed. Fit and finish is great and feels great to wear. Yet to try it out with a hoodie underneath (standard post-October wear in Canada) but pretty sure it should fit OK. Only clear drawback is the price which puts it at a premium. August 26, 2013
Worth every penny I've had quite a few jackets over the years, ranging over most of the major brands, and some that nobody has ever heard of. This jacket tops them all. It fits great & looks the business. Hopefully I'll never have to test its crashworthiness, but it seems like it would do an excellent job at protecting. The leather is very supple right out of the gate and gets more form fitting and tailored to your body very quickly. Only two rides and it wore better than jackets I've had for years. The armor is top notch CE rated stuff that looks the business. The sizing chart is spot on, but these jackets (being European) will wear a little on the small side for most Americans. If there is any downside, I would have thought that an $800 jacket would have come with at least a basic foam back protector to complement the awesome shoulder and elbow armor, but I think Dainese may be trying to drum up some extra business by not including one as standard. Even with this minor complaint, I couldn't be happier with the jacket or Revzilla's service. I ordered early in the morning on Monday, and even with standard shipping, the jacket was here Tuesday afternoon. Definitely would recommend the jacket and Revzilla to any serious riders and/or friends. August 17, 2013
awesome jacket this jacket is well worth the price tag. the looks are good it fits real snug like it should. the arms were really tight at first but broke in well after the normal break in period. it breathes nicely. what really has me writing this review is it will save your skin and hold up really well. i went down at 60mph in gravel and i came out unscathed. the jacket held up superbly also. all the stitching is in tact, zippers still work, a little leather cleaner and you can barely tell i went down. i will be wearing this jacket for a long time if you want a jacket that has the looks as well as protection look no further. Awesome and great looking! This jacket is the bomb! Looks and feels great, seems like it will really protect well. Well made and durable, looking forward to years of use June 10, 2013

A shopper asked: How does the SUPER SPEED jacket fit in relation to one and 2 piece suits (more or less snug or just the same)? I have a euro 56 MISSION suit and a TRICKSTER 2 piece suit; both fit perfectly. Having tried on Dainese jackets it seems they all do not fit the same in any given size. Do SUPER SPEED and ALIEN jackets fit the same? Oct 22, 2013

Darren D: First, I'm 6'4" and bought the SUPER SPEED 56 to attach to my Dainese pants. When I just tryed on the jacket, it seemed like a pretty good fit except it seemed a little short in the waist, but only there. So when I ride, I attach jacket to pants before I put them on and it seems make the issue non existant. I seem to have good manuverability even though the jacket seems tight at first, but thats good. I hope this helps, and enjoy choice whatever it is, because if it's uncomfortable, it's unsafe and that can be real bad.

Paul N asked: Does the Super Speed leather jacket have a leather pant to go with it? If not, what other dainese leather pants can fit this jacket as a 2 piece? Sep 15, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Frank A: Any Dainese leather pants with a zipper along the back of the waistband will attach to the Super Speed. The best match though is the Delta Pro Evo, which come with or without perforations. Sep 15, 2013

A shopper asked: Does this jacket have a removable thermal liner? I low sided in the Santa Monica jacket and would like to replace with this one. Mar 6, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: It does not. The Super Speed only has Dainese's 3D bubble liner (non-removable). It certainly helps with maintaining a comfortable body temperature, but it won't be as warm as a proper thermal liner.

If you have your heart set on having a liner, check out the Avro.

A shopper asked: If not im looking for a good leather jacket that i would be able to use for sport touring. I currently own the icon patrol (jacket and pants hi vis) and have been looking for a great pair of leather to use when going longer distance Mar 5, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jeffrey H: I know icon tends to fit kinda of loose. This jacket fits really snug and I love that feeling. I guess you could buy a larger size. You may want to try out a Dainese Alien and it's more a relax fit. Mar 5, 2013

A shopper asked: What's the size of the speed hump? Is it as big as on racing suites? Is it the same size as on Dainese Delmar leather jacket or bigger? Thanks. Mar 4, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The speed/race hump on the Super Speed is approximately the same size as the New Delmar. It is definitely not as big as the humps on the race suits. Mar 6, 2013

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
  • Gloves: Using a flexible measuring tape, measure around your hand, behind the knuckles, not including the thumb.
