Mine now has battle scars What a great jacket! I was riding through the local twisties when I had a 50 mph lowside in my Rebel jacket, slid and tumbled for around twenty feet and the jacket did its job! The sliders slid like they were supoosed to. I scuffed the right forearm, as well as the back and the leather held up with plenty of life left. The shoulder protection is incredible, since I initially landed on my shoulder. I am totally happy with the investment I made with this particular jacket and can't wait to get on the road again to sport the jacket with pride from the battle scars. As previously mentioned, the jacket is very comfortable, practical, given the seasonality of having both a liner and zippered air vents. A great investment that couples function and style. I believe this jacket is on closeout, so get it here while you can! This jacket saved my skin. March 20, 2013
Great protection and comfort for the price I only started wearing this jacket during fall, but I have to say that the comfort was top notch! I felt completely warm riding in 40 degree weather. This is the first Dainese jacket that I found to be subtly stylish! I will probably not ride this during the summer time considering it would be about 100 degrees with 80% humidity, but I'm confident that the ventilation system would be sufficient if you are in CA or other thermally friendlier areas. This jacket is Top Knotch Im more than pleased with this jacket. Ive been riding for 30 years and I have owned quite a range of riding jackets. The Dianese Rebel is by far the nicest I have had. The craftmanship and attention to detail are outstanding. The fit and styleing are just beautiful. The protection is just about as good as you could can get. I have so far ridden in 45 degree temps and up to 82 degrees temps. The Rebel preformed wonderfully at both .The rebel is now my jacket of choice in a closet full . The only reason i wouldn't tell my best friend to get a rebel is because i wouldnt want him to look as good as I do now. June 11, 2012

Answer: 
The air flow comparison between the non-perforated and perforated Rebel is going to be night and day. The perforated version has a ton of perforation throughout the jacket, whereas the non-perforated has none. In some cases, the perf vs non-perf can be similar but with this particular jacket that is not the case by any means.

Answer: 
It won't react terribly but we wouldn't recommend going out of your way to wear it in foul weather. Getting caught in the rain is usually ok on leather motorcycle jackets as it is expected that they will be exposed to the elements. If you want to better protect your Dainese leather jacket, then we recommend using the Dainese Leather Protection & Cleaning Kit.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone

Men's Dainese Jacket Sizing
