Stylish, high quality, jacket
I bought the Dainese Rapier in White/Black. My main reason for buying this jacket was that Dainese fit me much better than other brands - I like a snug fit (I'm 6", 79 kg - size 52). It is a great looking, high quality jacket with very nice leather and it really looks distinctive when riding.
I have two minor issues with it.
1. It only really has two side pockets and one internal pocket (one internal pocket in the jacket, one in the removable liner, but you can only access one at once). I suppose this is to accommodate the thorax protector, but I do miss my vertical chest exterior pocket.
2. The arms a just a little short/narrow at the wrist. I like to wear my gloves under my jacket and they're a little tight. I guess this is a sizing issue.
Even given these little issues, I really like this jacket and wouldn't hesitate to buy this again!
Revzilla's service was awesome.

Awesome jacket!
This will make a great cool weather jacket. The leather is not perforated throughout, so I'll probably stick with my textile jacket for summer months. Color scheme is great, sure to be seen out on the road!

Love this Jacket, worth the money
This Jacket rocks! It looks great on, it fits well the materials and workmanship are as you would expect. If I had to find fault I would say that the pockets are a little far back and not the easiest to get at. and the pulls on the zippers are small and tuck themselves in under the beautifully finished seams. if you have been looking at this jacket spend the coin you won't be disappointed. and buy from revzilla cause I live right on the other side of the world and these guys have been easier to deal with than some of our local dealers.

nice jacket
This is a nice sleek and sturdy leather jacket. I was looking for something with understated style and that is what the black version has. It has the logo on the back and shoulders but that's it. I like the other colors options too.
Like the other guy said, it may run small. I'm a fairly slim guy. I have a little bit unusual fit, but European stuff tends to fit me better. Given my chest size, I have slightly shorter arms and slimmer waist. I ordered a 50 and it's exactly my size. With the liner in it's snug. So if you're, er, thicker, or have longer arms I guess you'd wanna go up.
Anyway, the leather feels very nice, everything feels quality. I'm sure it will get hot in summer but a) everything does and b) I have a mesh jacket for the really hot days.

Outstanding jacket, worth every penny!
Just as you would expect from a Dainese, the Rapier Leather Jacket exceeds every expectation you would have for a leather jacket. That's my second Dainese Jacket, I also own a Shogun which is much more suitable for Rio de Janeiro "single season" weather however, once in a while, the temperatures decrease a bit and the shogun fits no longer. That's when the Rapier takes place.
It's a heavy leather jacket so, there's no surprise on saying that it's much more volumous and sturdy than the shogun but, even though, it's surprisingly confortable, with or without the termal liner.
Important comment, my shogun is a size 52 and by a mistake, I ordered a size 54 rapier. However that was a fortunate mistake, because it turned out to be a perfect fit. I believe that it's because as it's a much more sturdy jacket - as mentioned above -, it seems to ask for a size higher than a regular jacket. I don't know if it's a rule, but it's definitely something to think about when ordering it.
An oustanding jacket highly recommended for anybody looking for a stylish leather jacket for chilly weathers.

quality jacket, great visibility with reflective logo, fits nicely
I, like the previous reviewer, ordered this in the full black version, but the picture posted originally had the "Dainese" logo on the sleeve in white and looked really nice, so I was also disappointed when I saw that they had changed the original design. The picture that Revzilla has now is what the full black version actually looks like. I decided to stick with the jacket because I loved the reflective logo in the back and reflective inserts on the sleeve, which is huge if you ride at night and increases chances that drivers will see you. It fits me like a glove and is very comfortable. I've ridden in some chilly weather (40s) without the thermal liner and didn't feel too cold. The jacket has no perforations so I imagine it could get hot in the summer if you're just cruising but its still a great jacket that looks awesome and is very protective.

What you see is not what you get
I ordered this jacket based upon the images here at Revzilla and at Dainese's web site. All of them showed the black jacket as having white "Dainese" lettering on the sleeves and white Dainese logos on the shoulders. Instead, when I received the jacket, these items were black, not white so they were not visible. For a sport rider jacket and, for a Dainese jacket, I want the logos to be visible. I'll be sending this jacket back. I think this is a major failure on the part of Dainese.
