Dainese Racing Perforated Pelle Jacket

This technical jacket flaunts an aggressive, distinctive sports look with aluminum inserts on the shoulders that complete this model’s aesthetics and design while providing greater protection. Cowhide, composite protectors on the shoulders and elbows, and the pocket for the G-type back protector ensure protection in case of fall.

Comfort, ergonomics, and practicality are ensured by elasticated inserts on the neck, sleeves and sides, and the jacket-pants fastening zipper. Air inlets on the sides and chest permit ideal inner temperature control.

Best jacket ever You know that you are getting quality when you buy a Dianese product and this jacket is an excellent fit. The perforation is excellent and I anticipate this jacket being as cool flowing as a leather jacket can be with great protection. May 6, 2013
Great perf leather from Dainese This leather fits spot on. Nice an snug fit gives you the confidence you want when flying on the highway. In NYC weather at the moment, with just a thermal underneath, your body stays warm and comfortable. The armor and reflective material are spot on and the overall design is very eye catching. Lots of looks and compliments on this jacket. Yea its 600, but when you want proper protection you have to shell out the money for it. I am very satisfied with Dainese's product. I'm 5'11 170 with an athletic build (muay thai fighter) and the 50/40 fits like a glove. March 15, 2013
Awesome Dainese Product At first glance the Dainese Racing Perforated looks to be extremely well made. The detail on the jacket is top notch as well as the style. The fit was spot on after one trial and error run. After wearing the jacket for only a few hours riding it seems to be already broken in. Super comfortable, the armor is very high quality and the aluminum shoulder plates are a very nice touch. This jacket flows an insane amount of air. It would get a little chilly in cooler weather however that's what you would expect from a well made perforated jacket! Have received multiple comments on how good the jacket looks. Over all awesome product, Well worth the money. Revzilla as always with awesome customer service and ship time. Buy this jacket if you are looking for a protective summer jacket that breathes as well as mesh if not better. March 11, 2013
More and Less than what you'd expect. At 6'3 240lbs with broad shoulders atheltic build, and long limbs I'm your average small Texas sized rider. As such its tough to find gear that fits correctly. Being in south Texas we ride all year long and deal with extreme heat an humidity. First off, the Racing is an exspensive jacket considering there is no separate liner, and not even a back pad. It does however come in great leather that feels broken in within the first few hours. The shoulder and elbow armor are excellent. Expected that didn't expect it to fit so well, finally a large size wih longer sleeves and a shorter front then back. You will look like Popeye no matter how big your biceps. The 56 provides just enough room for a back protector without being tight. Spot on sizing. The reflectors and red in the elbow double as turn signals becoming visable when you push on the bars one way or the other more than I expected. Didn't expect the full perf leather to flow this much air. It REALLY flows a TON of air! I got the white black red, but the white is not your typical ivory white, its more of an egg shell, which suprisingly is easier to keep clean. At this price point I expected locking zippers thru out, which it doesn't have but still an overall great buy for the fit and air flow far better than any of my other three jackets including a full mesh A*'s. Answer: 
The leather is perforated (tiny holes) in local areas throughout the jacket. It's like the "summer version" of the Dainese Racing Leather Jacket. Otherwise, they are identical.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
