Being this is my first jacket it really felt good just to own a jacket. but after riding around with it really felt great all around. the price i guess is about average maybe a lil too pricy but definitely a great jacket.

Worth it for the hot weather and can last in the cold
When I first put it on I was blown away on how tailored it felt, such an excellent fit from the get go. The air flow is excellent on hot days and with a base layer I could drive to work at 5am no problem. Just treat it gently as when hit my shoulder against a pull in the garage the shoulder guards scratch easily but then again adds to the overall badass look.

A jacket with excellent style and functionality
The perforated version of this jacket is unavailable in Australia, thus my decision to have this shipped to Sydney by Revzilla (a nine day shipping time over the Xmas break - which is amazing).
I bought the predominantly white version in a size 54 (I'm 5ft 11ins and 87KGs) and the fit is terrific. This colour works perfectly as a summer jacket since white tends to reflect the sun and compliments the truly effective perforations. I zip this jacket to a pair of Dainese leather pants and I have to say after about 6 rides it has broken in superbly and feels incredibly comfortable. I don't intend to put its protection to the test but it makes me feel secure and compact on the bike. I ride a Triumph Sprint ST and can't imagine a better jacket than this one. It may not be a "bargain" but considering the use I will give it this jacket will end up providing excellent cost per wear - well worth the investment.

Rockstar jacket with high performance and protection!
The fit and style of this jacket is 2nd to none and its protection is top notch. I'm 6' 2" 180 pounds and I got the 54 and its like this jacket was custom fit for me. Ive gotten many compliments from girls and fellow riders. This jacket is confidence inspiring...Wearing it I feel more protected and sleek, with no bagginess or loose straps flapping in the wind. Great airflow too with the perforated version so during the winter I use a windblocking base layer so I dont freeze... and during the summer I wont roast like a 6' 2" chicken at a stoplight, lol. I also got the Dainese Wave G back protector which is very comfortable and I dont even notice its there. This jacket is not cheap but you will soon forget about the money you spent and be out shredding the pavement in style!

was discouraged at first buying a leather jacket living in southern florida, but stays amazingly cool, very stylish. a bit pricey but worth every penny

Excellent protective hot weather jacket
I purchased the mostly white perforated version of the Racing. I am 6'3", 185 lbs, about 40-41 inch chest and own this jacket in a 52 - perfect fit. I also have the Forcefield back Protector for Dainese (G2 size) inserted, and is extremely comfortable.
I live in a very hot and humid area. I went out for a long ride not too long ago and also was stuck in a 40 minute stop-and-go traffic. It was averaging about 92 degrees when i was riding, and peaked at around 97. When I was moving, I was extremely comfortable. Air flow is outstanding, and having mostly white leather probably helped in not absorbing the sun.
Did I sweat when I was moving under 20 mph or at stops. yes. But as soon i started moving, the sweat helped cool me down even more due to the great air flow. When i finished my ride, my jacket did not stink at all. The anti-microbial mesh liner is excellent.
I upgraded to this jacket from a summer mesh jacket...i feel a lot more protected and just as cool, if not more. When the weather is in low 70s, it flows enough air that it's borderline chilly with a short sleeve shirt...but nothing a long-sleeve cotton shirt doesn't fix.
I highly recommend this jacket...just wished Dainese made textile or leather pants in tall lengths...I have a 34 inch inseam, and most of the pants (new air drake or alien) only come in 32 inch inseam for my waist size.

This jacket is my first purchase from Dainese and I am thoroughly impressed. The detail that goes into making this jacket blows my mind from the impeccable stitching to the fit and comfort. I know the protective armor pieces are there but you can barely feel them. My chest, fully inhaled, measures 43 inches and the size 56 fits me perfect. All I can say is good things about this product. I'll definitely be purchasing more Dainese products in the future.

Great summer jacket
I purchased this jacket primarily based on my satisfaction with Dainese in the past and the fantastic in-showroom service I received. I tried on several other Dainese jackets including the beautiful Super Speed - which is expensive and didn't fit well - and the Alien which was cut too generously, among others. This one fit my tall, lanky frame (6' and 155lbs) the best. It also zips to Dainese Alien pants for shoulder-to-shin protection.
Perforations cover much of the front, back and sleeves on this jacket, and airflow is great. The two zip-open vents on the front make a noticeable difference when open. There's no liner, so this is a summer-only jacket, which is what I wanted.
Overall, quality and workmanship are good. Stitching is neat and even, with no loose threads or unfinished bits. I was, however, very disappointed to see Dainese move away from YKK zippers. The YKKs on my 15+ year old Dainese jacket are easier to pull and operate more smoothly than the Opti zips on new Dainese gear. Let's hope the Optis hold up half as well.
The built-in shoulder and forearm protection seem sturdy, but there's no built-in back protector. Really? For $600 a back protector should be part of the package. I added a Klim D3O and that fits well, though I wish the back protector pocket extended a few inches further down my tailbone for better protection.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this jacket despite the couple of shortcomings.
