Including removable composite protectors and a 3D Bubble Liner, this jacket is distinguished by its excellent ergonomics in the saddle, S1 elasticated fabric inserts, neck and side adjustments and a jacket-trousers fastening system.

Perfect fit to the body!! Great jacket, perfect fits to the body, It is a very stylish and aggressive style. At the beginning I was not sure which size to choose, so I based on the size of my chest and it was a very good choice. Protectors in shoulders and arms are excellent!! Great jacket, awesome look!! Watch out for the size! I got this jacket in size 54 first, since i wear an alpinestars 54. But it was surprisingly big, quiet loose in the arms and torso. I felt that the protection may not be that useful on a fall,as they may move around. Exchanged that for a 52 with no issues, thanks to revzilla's easy exchange policy. When it arrived, it was a big tight!!! uhh!! But i decided to work around it, as i was able to still zip up with no issues. And it prefer more body hugging type, than loose armor moving around. Nice Jacket very nice jacket, made from great materials and a really nice fit. Remember its not a sports bike jacket, its meant for nakeds and a little more straight up riding position. I ride a CBR1000RR and the sleeves aren't as long as I would like when I'm in riding position, but the jacket isn't made for an aggressive position. July 18, 2012

The Dainese Newater Jacket does use the same CE/EN 1621.1/97 Certified elbow armor as the other leather Dainese Jackets.

Yes, the 3D Bubble Liner allows the Newater Jacket to be more comfortable in warmer weather compared to other non-perforated jackets.

The 3-D fabric is an inner liner that provides a heat insulation around the rider body, whether it is hot or cold. It is a non-removable liner that will be included in suits and in some jackets and will ensure the maximum level of air-flow.

Not removable. Its a great addition to the jacket - keeps you cooler in warm weather and warmer in cool weather. Almost like a mini-climate control.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
