You get what you pay for!
This jacket is gear for spring ridding all the way through summer! great protection you feel alot safter in it. detail on it is amazing.
i am 177cm, (5'10) 170lb, chest 100cm, i am wearing a size 50, it perfect not so tight i cant breath , but tight enough that no protection is going to move if i fall.
the only problem i found is that i ride a standard bike, i dont tuck my self at all, and i find the neck area(where the 2 button is) is digging into my adam's apple, kinda annoy, but jacket is still new, leather is still very ahrd, whould be good when i wear it more often. and wear it in throught this summer.

Fantastic quality
This jacket is for you if: you know and appreciate excellent craftsmanship, want to wear something that will provide great protection, and look incredible.
I occasionally put this jacket on just to feel how nice it is. Nothing I own compares (and yes, I have bought other high end jackets.)
I wouldn't have purchased this unless it was a closeout item. I am very glad I did. Any future leather gear will likely be Dainese. In comparison to my older A* suit, this is better. Protection is equally good, however the Dainese leather is very buttery and the hefty weigh of the jacket disappears when you put it on. It's magic!
Cannot wait for warmer weather. This thing is going to be on my back in a heartbeat.

Closeout pricing? Can't beat that!
I ordered this jacket on closeout from Revzilla. I spent about a week studying the different jackets in the Dainese line-up, knowing full well the quality that the brand offers. I had worn a Dainese Laguna Seca jacket for nearly five years in all weather conditions. I crashed in it twice on my first bike (glad to get those accidents out of the way on a cheaper beginner bike, whew). With all due respect to other great motorcycle companies like Alpinestars and Rev it, the only jacket that I could upgrade to was going to be another Dainese.
I finally made my mind up that it was going to be the Dainese Delmar. I read review after review praising its excellent airflow (in the non-perforated and especially non-perforated models), features like the 3D lining and titanium shoulders, and of course its general durability. I don't follow Rossi or MotoGP; I have no delusions of taking this track on a track at 180mph. I am an everyday street rider wanting the best bang for my bike, at whatever cost that is.
Upon receiving the jacket, I tried it on and it felt great. Needed to be broken in and was a bit heavier than I was used to, but it felt great. I've worn it daily for the better part of two weeks and have no real complaints thus far. I am very lanky (about 6' and 140 lbs) and thus have sacrifices I have to make with clothing; this was no different. The size 50 Euro offers a baggier fit in the body than I would like, but the sleeves come down just right to my wrists. I would imagine adding the back protector would fill it out a little more.
If you can get this jacket on closeout, do it. There's nothing that can touch it in the same price bracket. Take it from me, I did my homework.

New Delmar
First i got it when it's come out and i can just say is the best of the best of the leather jascket, light weight, comfortable just a bit large on the hip but is not a big deal and don't forget to take off the neck protector because he touching the helmet make u not comfortable so over all is very good jacket. this years i got the superspeed but i still love the new delmar so guy is recommended for.

Dainese, It's supposed to be good.
No surprises here, a top of the line jacket. Cut well for the average fit person (semi athletic build), personally a bit tight in the shoulder and bicep when on the bike, but like any leather it will fit better with use. The only other note is that the Neck 5 can catch the bottom of the helmet and bind once in awhile when raising your head. The jacket actually looks better than in the Revzilla review....sorry Patrick

Great style and features
I originally purchased a Super Speed jacket in a size 58(my chest is 47") but it was too big and a 56 wouldn't be in til spring. The New Delmar was the previous top-of-the-line jacket from Dianese that the Super Speed is replacing. The New Delmar has several features that aren't found on theSuper Speed, but is also lacking in a couple new updates.I like that the New Delmar has titanium shoulder sliders, whereas the Super Speed's are aluminum. The New Delmar also has a neck support that comes w/ the jacket.Where improvements were made are in that the Super Speed has more ventilation and a second pocket for the Level 2 air shield back protecter. The New Delmar comes w/ one pocket for the level 1 Wave pro protecter. I tried to fit the air shield in my jacket, but there was no way and had to return. I got the New Delmar in a 56 at the closeout price.
