Sport influenced style This jacket is sexy and durable. I don't feel safe riding until this jacket is on. I'm 6'3" 220 muscular build. I'm a 32 waist but my chest is where fitment is very tight. At first I thought I had made a mistake but after 3 months of hard use this jacket has become one with my body. The leather smells incredible too June 23, 2014
Great fit for abnormally-shaped riders I am 5'9", 185 lbs and muscular with wide shoulders. This made it very difficult to find a properly-fitting jacket, as my fellow weightlifters can attest to the following problems: either a) too tight around the arm pits and chest; or b) too long in the arms. Well fear not, the Laguna Evo is a jacket for you. A size 52 fits me perfectly (in reference to a & b, above). Additionally, I appreciate the simple yet stylish design that makes it a perfect jacket if I were to switch bikes and/or colours. The removable armour is a nice touch, and the liner is fantastically comfortable, However, what really surprised me, was how versatile the jacket is with the temperature fluctuations. I ride in Vancouver, BC and during these summer months, the temperature can change from 30 degrees celsius (in traffic) to 10 in the evenings cruises; 85 down to 50, for my friends south of the border. Cons: I find the side pockets a little difficult to get into, logistically-speaking. And the top button pinches my neck slightly. These are minor complaints for the sake of having a balanced argument and by no means reflects what your fit will be like. This is my first leather jacket, and so far I can tell, will be my last. Happy riding! June 8, 2014
Quality jacket! To be honest this is my first riding jacket. Before buying this jacket I did try on a fair amount of alpine stars and other dainese jackets. Settled on this one because of best fit, price, style and quality. According to the people at the Dainese store in San Francisco my build is a "bit of an anomaly." I'm 5'10" and 195lbs. I do Crossfit regularly and somehow my arms have begun to outgrow the rest of my body. Went with a size 52 but ideally a 53(which doesn't exist to my knowledge) would have been the absolute perfect fit. The 54 was too baggy in the chest and back but did fit perfectly in the bicep/forearm area. From what I understand the jacket over time will "give" the more you wear it and hoping I don't get too much bigger. Overall the jacket feels and looks great. May 6, 2014
Great Quality and Style This is the second Dainese jacket I have purchased, this one being for my fiance who is 6'4" (size 58) The fit is superb and the quality and protection is what you would expect from a high end manufacturer. No regrets here, just a happy customer! May 5, 2014
The best of the best the first thing i have to say about this jacket is the style is badass ! this is my first jacket i have bought besides A stars hand me downs and im happy i got this one. i didnt want a jacket super tight with heavy armor walking around like a robot. this one is perfect on and off the bike.i got the non-perf because i dont like the idea of having little holes in my leather and im not gonna be wearing a leather jacket when its 89 degress out.im 6 feet tall 168 pounds 39 inch chest . size 52 fit nicely because I have broad shoulders.the bottom side adjusters also helps .i had to return a size 50 because it did not fit. the return was easy and received the right size no problem. Great Jacket for Price Point After almost a year of searching for a leather jacket for 3 season riding in Michigan I settled on the Dainese Laguna Evo Non-Perf. I have had this jacket for a couple weeks of riding and it has been great. It is very comfortable, yet I still feel very protected when I'm riding. We have had a few 70 degree days so far and it has felt good while riding and sitting at lights/traffic. When it gets cooler at night it still keeps me warm even with no thermal liner in. I can see the thermal liner being useful when the temperature dips into the 40's. I do wish Dainese had added some zippered air-vents to the jacket, but I am still satisfied. I am 6'1" about 195lbs average build. I ordered a 56 and it fit perfect I was trying to decide between the 54 and 56 because I was right between both on measurements and I'm glad I went with the 56. My only concern is with being too hot on those crazy summer days in Michigan but I think it will work out fine. I am very happy with the quality of the jacket and Dainese seems like a great company based off of the purchase. I also received my order very fast (2 business days). THANKS REVZILLA!!! Great fit, exactly what I was looking for. Given the European sizing, I was concerned that the jacket might not fit properly. I was pleasantly surprised when it fit great right out of the box. The jacket seems to be very durable and is also comfortable -- exactly what I was looking for. Revzilla had the jacket in stock at a nearby warehouse and I received it in 2 business days. Overall great product and purchase experience. April 7, 2014
Great Jacket You can feel the quality, well built, awesome form. I chose the white as I have a white hayabusa. I have had great comments about the jacket, and I feel the protection. Bought the back protector too. Overall great product. March 31, 2014

hyun jin p: Leather protection and size fitting. It's hard to find a smaller jacket. Jul 21, 2014
Joshua B: not to aggressive leather jacket Jul 17, 2014
Tommaso G: Because it offers great protection while still being able to go out and not look like you just came off the track. Jul 13, 2014
Stephen R: Value, reputation for quality Jul 3, 2014
Eric N: Dianese... enough said! Ok, I wanted a high end jacket with armor and I didn't want something that was skin tight, but I also didn't want something loose and unable to offer any protection if I ever needed it. The Laguna Evo is that perfect balance I was looking for, with the added benefit of Dianase's build quality and top-notch materials. I think it's one of the best leather jackets you can get for the street. Apr 27, 2014
F S: First of all because of the Dainese reputation for quality, and secondly it has the protection and features I was looking for. Also it looks great; very modern. Apr 16, 2014
PAUL L: Great looking leather jacket with more of a relaxed and comfortable fit. The black on black is subtle and just oozes a ton of cool mojo that everyone will admire and long for. Yup..it's true. Mar 18, 2014
Mario B: Looks Great! Dec 3, 2013
A shopper asked: Quick sizing question. I wear a 56 with the super speed by Dainese and Anthony said this is a half size smaller, however, the 56 is snug on that and I don't want to get a 54 and have to send it back. Anyone maybe have this jacket and is around my size? 6'1 about 210. Thanks Feb 22, 2014

"" ": I recently purchased a Laguna evo jacket in size 54. I am 6'2 and around 190 lbs. I am extremely happy with the jacket. As far as fit goes, the 54 fit me the best overall. . The chest and belly fits like it was tailored. The sleeves are a tad short but I have long arms. The 56 fit nice in the chest and arm lengh but had too much extra in the belly. I went for the trim look of the 54. Hope this helps. Feb 26, 2014

Quang T asked: Hey guys, I'm interested in picking up the Laguna Evo soon, however I am torn between buying the perforated & nonperfed version. I'd like the perforated because I live in Texas, and really the only months that are cold would be December to February, and gets around 40 degrees at worst during those months. With the perf, I'd maximize the usage for more seasons throughout the year.

That being said, I've been riding in my Icon Overlord textile and have been getting away with just the zip-in thermal liner that came with it, and maybe a long sleeve shirt underneath, but I feel like I could use something more cozy. Does the nonperf version really insulate that much more, and do you think someone can live with a nonperf leather jacket during the summer time in Texas? I've only owned textile jackets and have no experience with leather.

Thanks, any wisdom in leather jackets is appreciated.

sherif E: My friend i went to the non perforated as in summer I'd remove the internal liner and go free in hot wether I don't like perforated as it is much harder to clean to be honest I didn't try my Laguna evo in the summer yet but I love it in winter it's a great one but take care coz it fits a bit larger that means don't over size ur self the jacket is not much slim. Enjoy it's a great piece u can also pick ur self a manis g2 back protector. My advice go for the non perforated
Thanks

Andrew G: As an owner of a white non-perf Laguna Evo jacket and resident of Las Vegas, NV, I can say that one can get away with using the non-perf version without the liner in the summer. The vents do a decent job of letting air in once you get moving. Just make sure you stay hydrated out there. Jun 6, 2014

Gabriel R asked: Dainese Manis G2 or Forcefield Pro Insert for Dainese supposed to be narrow side up or vice versa? I tried both, both ways, and it seems too large for this jacket, in a 50 (US 40). I am guessing a G1 would be better yet I am not clear on how a G1 would fit in the pocket. Seems like it would move around a lot. Anyone put a G1 in a 50 in this jacket? Jul 19, 2014

Tommaso G: Hi Gabriel,

Regarding the fit on the Manis G2, rest assured you got the right one. It is supposed to fit with the smaller side down, yes, it is a little tough to get it in but that actually gives it a nice snug feel. Hope that helps!

Keep 2 wheels down!
