excellent quality
i'm very happy with the jacket!
I thought about size 50-52 but I bought size 48. I do working out with boxing. I've got 105cm chest, true waist 86cm, height 168cm, arm length 60cm, my weight is 75kg, neck 39cm.
The jacket sits perfect, like a gloves.
The leather quality, in my opinion, is the best. I touched and tried about 6 different Dainese jackets with better protection and maybe better air flow but the look and the leather softness of Carbon one got me!!! I got a back protection as well. Many riders just ride in suits or t-shirts.
I'm a cafe style ride not a ricer one. Many riders will go after jackets with better protection and more air flow. For summer time I've got Dainese Air-Frame JCK size 48 has perfect cut for me.

good protection, great style.
im 5'10", 165lbs wearing a size 50

this jacket is extremely focused on casual fashion wear. looks excellent on and off the bike. although the smaller hex pads in the elbows and shoulders are less protective than full CE armor plates, they protect well and are very low profile, so it doesnt ruin the look of the jacket. this jacket is a bit more fitted than typical dainese jackets, but being the slimmer/ athletic built guy that i am, i prefer it. the leather feels strong, yet allows the wearer to move decently well. this is important because this jacket does not come with any flex material around the under arm area. the carbon inserts look great, but some people may find it makes the jacket a little less comfortable (depending on build of your shoulders). it doesnt have any additional liners, but the leather has no perferation so it blocks wind great, and if it gets cold out just throw a hoodie on under it and youll be fine.
i bought this jacket brand new. honestly, i dont think its worth 800$, but i will say this. ive tested out about 6 different dainese jackets, and this and the tintop jacket are the only two ive worn that fit and feel like real "casual wear" jackets that have real protection.
all in all its got a little more fashion and a little less protection. i love the jacket and will be wearing it for a very long time.

Divided
Okay, first off, my dimensions: 6'3", 167lbs, 40" chest. I saw this on Revzilla about 5 weeks ago and placed a pre-order for a size 52. It arrived today, in typical Dainese protective packaging. Upon removing the plastic cover my first impression was that it was too small. However, it actually fits very well for the style, which is close cut and short. That said, I'd prefer a Tall version (which isn't offered), as this is a bit shorter than I'd want for on the bike. It's very lightweight, and the Pro-Shape soft protectors are discrete enough that you almost forget their presence.
The finish of the jacket wasn't what I expected, as the photos seemed to convey a richer, more glossy type of "vintage" leather. This particular garment is dull, and the process used to "age" it actually left the collar and interior pocket trim stiff on the example I received. In the case of the latter, it doesn't lay flat, feeling almost like the inside pocket has something it. Frankly, it's irritating.
While the construction is top shelf, I don't think this is the jacket I'm after - and, it will be going back. Therefore, I can't recommend it.
Cons: a bit too short in the body and sleeves, dull finish, stiff collar and trim (that inside pocket trim is a deal breaker for me all by itself).
