Face visor
I got the shield to have a non tinted visor that I could quickly swap on and off...it accomplishes that very nice. Extremely easy to click on and off my 3/4 helmet. The only thing I would say is a slight drawback to this helmet is that when I am over 50 mph the air flow under the visor has a kind of interesting wind tunnel effect on your face.

Great product overall
The face shield rattles at highway speeds but offers great wind protection and visibility. I would purchase this product again.

Great Accessory for Open Face Helmet
My wife and I bought these as helmet accessories for our Bell Custom 500 helmets. We wanted to have a vintage style and the option of snapping on the full face shield. It has worked out nicely in light rain and night riding. We have a Ural so I keep mine stored in my helmet bag in the trunk if I need it. My wife keeps hers attached all the time and flips it up as necessary. Most of our driving is non-highway speeds so I can't vouch for the high speed capability, but it works pretty well on sufrace streets. The best part is your only three snaps away if you don't want it on...

Excellent fitment, good quality, slight vision distortion
The visor fit onto the Bell helmet as designed. Quick and easy to install. The shield was of good quality and raises and lowers without scratching the new Bell helmet as some would. Slight vision distortion from the round/bubble shape but not too noticeable. I would recommend.

If you ride w/ half helmets and want occasional protection from wind & rain..this sheild is great to just snap on when you want it.

Useless after just one ride.
I bought this along with the fixed shield version to mount to my Bell 500 helmet. The lens is a light smoke, so you can still see through slightly. I really liked the visor at first, but during my first ride, the ratcheting system weakened and the visor blows up every time you turn your head. turn your head back and it slaps back down in your face...making lane changes a pain in the rear. So unless you plan on sticking to city streets, find a different visor. I looked but see no way of tightening the ratchets.

I live in KS. Sometime it is cold in the morning and beautiful it the afternoon. Will this shield fit an ex-small Bell half helmet. My helmet is about 11 years old and I have never dropped it so it is still in excellent shape. I am having a hard time finding a new shield in Dodge City, KS. Thanks!
