Beautiful Jacket
You can buy plenty of nice jackets in the $400 range, was really contemplating the all black Jaws this Spring, but this model kept speaking to me in spite of the price. There are many features in the GP Tech Air that the other jackets do not have, particularly the grade of Armor.
The Fit (size 52 with bionic air insert) - I am 6'1", 170, 42in chest, 15in biceps, this thing fits like a glove with a bit of room around the belly - it is snug, but not painful, and thankfully the forearms are a bit longer than A-stars standard cut (cause I got long arms).
The leather is fantastic, the dye job looks great, armor fits correctly and does not move around, zippers are good, stitching appears solid, and flows air nicely. The White on Black pops big time, but manages to look 'handsome' instead of obnoxious, I am not self conscious wearing it, I think it looks incredible.
Okay, my main concern was with the guy who had problems with the hump, I can say that yes your helmet does have a stopping point but for me this was beyond my normal head extension so it has not been an issue. I do full tucks on a SS, and did a 300 mile ride last week in it, had no issues, and did not even notice the hump. I feel the hump is an assest, I swear there was a bit less turbulence and my vision was not as worn out as normal after the ride.
I understand the price seems ludicrous, but the jacket was worth it to me, I really love it, and I highly reccomend it, I don't think you will be dissapointed.

great jacket
this is a great jacket, even without the cold weather inserts, this jacket is warm to wear, without being too hot. jacket fits very nice and none of the armor shifts where it sit when you are riding. My favorite thing about this jacket though is the aero hump on the back, this incresed my top speed nearly 3%.

When $$$ IS NO OBJECT
Let me start with commending Revzilla for Their OUTSTANDING SERVICE, PRESENTING THE PRODUCT ON VIDEO and FULLY STANDING BEHIND IT 100% . Can't beat it. OK now about my new GP TECH.........I'm 5'9 200lbs and after trying 5 jackets finally this is it. Had to remove and trim speed hump, but it fits and breathes the absolute best. In my opinion none are worth $900. That being said, there is no better than The GP Tech. Matt. Orange, CA.

I am so happy with my purchase! The price and postage and time to get it here to Queensland was fantastic.

Cannot recommend, design issues, lack of product testing.
The Speed Hump on the back is not designed to fit with your helmet while on a bike in the riding position.It is too close to the top of the jacket so that it jams your head down so you have to fight it to see where you are going, Very disappointed in this jacket after spending right at $900.00. Now I am having to modify it for it to work right with my Arai helmet. I have cut the foam down and will have to tack the leather down. Even after removing the foam out completely, the leather even bunches up on the helmet. I also found that the Velcro was not sown in place properly, about 6" was not sewed to the leather to complete the pouch to hold the speed hump in place. I have contacted AlpineStars about the issues and they are going to send me 2 different sizes of Speed humps to see if this will work....we will see. At present I cannot recommend this jacket for no one should have to modify the jacket for such an issue, very poor product testing and design...I expected much more from AStars.

Excellent Quality as Usual
Airflow, protection, and style are some of the big things i wanted as I like to know im protected while looking good. I'm 6'2" 230lbs. This jacket was designed for someone that is 6'3" #Size 46 US# and as such the arms are just a tad long for me but work. I am glad I decided this size vs one down as this jacket fits a tad tight in the chest #44 3/4"#. The trunk is a good fit and the adjustablity of the waist will work for someone smaller and larger then myself.
I needed airflow as it occasionally gets above 110 degrees where I live and need some breathability. Riding even while it's hot you notice the great design by Alpinestars which will still keep you comfortable. Standing static you will remember that you're wearing a leather jacket as it does get hot.
The styling of the jacket is outstanding as it fits well with my other gear and goes well with my bike. The price may seam like a lot but to be my protection does not have a price limit.

good to go
I bought dainese new delmar non properate jacket size 50 before.
I'm 168, 5.9. that jacket was very tight and I couldn't evem move it. I returned it and I got this jacket as size 52. It's very comfy and looks real nice. It's alot of monery but I needed jacket can protect myself. It's not sug cause I got 52 but I'm planning ware some shirt inside and cest, back protetor. It's pretty nice and very comfortable even it's race jacket
