James M: Runs large so get a one size smaller than you normally would. But it is a really nice jacket.May 11, 2014

Allen C: I like to have the best of the best, I was going to buy this jacket eventually when I bought my next bike (2014-2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Green) but I decided I might as well start breaking it in now over the next 9 months and start getting used to the fit. From all the reviews I don't think I will be disappointed, plus I really love the look. This will be my very first leather motorcycle racing jacket. Alpinestars forever and ever! Go Team Green!Dec 21, 2013
A shopper asked:Does this jacket zip into the Alpinestars Track Leather Pants?Jul 31, 2012
Bert P asked:Hello I just got this jacket in the mail today and was wondering how tight this is supposed to fit? I ordered a 56 and I am 6'1" 230 pounds with an athletic build. I can get the jacket on with some struggle and it is snug in the chest and arms. Trying to take it back off was a panic mode. Very hard to get it off my shoulders. Is it supposed to be this snug or do I need to return it for a size larger?May 20, 2015
Nathan K:Get a size or two larger. Your stats are too large for a 56. Keep in mind it will break in but not to loosen that kind of gap. Should be easy on and off by fitted and not prone to shifting. Pay attention to the elbow armor and shoulders not shifting but still flexible enough to move around and get in and out. At 230 you could probably go up two sizes, especially if you ever plan on wearing layers under it on cold days (will probably happen since it's very perforated). I'm 5 11 and 170 lbs and the 54 fits me on the snug size with a long sleeve underneath. I have a very athletic build. At 230 I would recommend going two sizes larger from where you are now May 21, 2015
Im almost 6 feet. 200 puonds. Athletic buil, kinda chuby in the belly and have Wide hips. I though I was a 56. So I ordered a 58 thinking sometime I might wanna fit in there an other layer or EVEN a back protector. In turn out to feet Just perfect. So maybe u think u are a 56 or u might EVEN be one. But personally a 56 from This jacket Also fits me kinda small. Also u gotta know it Will loose up a little but after regular use. Still make sure and tried to get your hands on a 58 before returning Just to be really sure.
Anthony P:Hey, I have that exact build. When I ordered mine I read how alpine stars runs a little small. My suit jacket size is a 46 (56 eu) so I opted for the size up at 58. It fit a little tight at first but as the leather stretched it fits near perfect. I was a struggle to get out of at first as well but you get used to it and it never put me in a panic. I would recommend returning it and getting the bigger size. May 21, 2015
Michael R:Hey bro, Go a size up, I'm 6'3" 230 and my 58 barely comes off too, especially after an arm workout or its a hot day, 56 is too small. I wouldn't go to a 60 though. The waist on mine is a little on the loose side. Hope that helps! MikeMay 21, 2015
Chris E:Yes with Alpinestars race fit it is a bit tight at first but will stretch a little. If it is that tight though I would go up size. Especially if planning a track day and need to use a back protector you will still have room for it.May 21, 2015
Peter C asked:Hi, I am looking at this jacket for my daily use as a commuter and weekend rides (no track work), do the people who own one have any comment regarding the suitability, or otherwise, of this jacket in every day use i.e. comfort etc.?Feb 13, 2014
james a:I would rething your size 58. The 56 is long in the wrists and torso for me. If you're only 203lbs, the 58 will be too big and loose around your shoulders, arms, and chest. You don't want the jacket flopping and flapping in the wind on your rides. Trust me, I think the 56 will be perfect for you. The wrist is not supposed to be so long down your arm, as this jacket is supposed to be paired with Guantlets, and not supermoto or short gloves. Remember that. Revzilla does however have a very good return policy. But not sure how they work it for international orders. You will probably want to check in on that. Let me know if you have any other concerns. I know this jacket very well.Feb 19, 2014
james a:I wouldn't reccomend it as a daily commuter. It's especially cold in the winter as it vents a lot of air.
Furthermore, if you have a short neck, the speed hump reallllllly gets in the way. Jacket rides up while riding if you don't have pants to zip int them. I am 5.10 and about 235+ pounds. Very athletic build, and I wear a 56. It is tight around the biceps, shoulders, and most especially around the chest. I've got four very high end jackets and this one is my favorite if I am at the track and I am not using my one peice. It is not my favorite if I am riding to work or around the streets. Feb 13, 2014
Hi James, thanks for that. I live in the tropic north of Australia so cold weather (such as it is) only lasts for about one week of the year. The biggest reason for opting for this jacket is the ventilation and the fact that it's not black and extremely hot in the sun. I'm 6ft 2in and approx 203 lbs and was looking at a size 58, mainly for the shoulders and arm length.

Allen C:I have an Arai Corsair-V right now and when I wear it with the jacket it does interfere but not by much. In a full tuck it never interferes. Only when I am literally trying to put my head up high the back of my helmet taps the hump a bit. But there is no reason I would ever need my head tilted at such a high angle, I just do it out of habit. Hope this helps.Jun 11, 2014
A shopper asked:Hi, does anyone know why this jacket is being closed out? Are they replacing it with something? It seems to be their top of the line leather sport jacket, and I'm really thinking about it, but I'd like to know if there's something else in the pipeline. Thanks!Mar 21, 2014
Allen C:I can't tell you why it is closed out but I can tell you from experience, usually when manufacturers come out with a new model of a jacket, they don't change it by much. Most of the time it's usually new color schemes, which is what it seems like for the GP Tech Air Leather Jacket because it only has 2 color options. I bought this jacket at the MSRP and I can tell you in all honestly it is worth every penny. Everything fits exactly where it is supposed to and it's very clean. It feels so fit on my body. Makes me feel like a racer too. All the protection features definitely gives me more confidence. If it's on closeout, you can't go wrong buying it. They can't really do much with this line of the jacket anyways, other than...I don't know...add another pocket? haha It already has 5 pockets! 3 inside 2 outside. Closeout deal is a steal brother.Mar 21, 2014
