This is a great product. Though slightly larger than my originals I was able to modify it just enough without compromising safety and the fit was perfect! The quality is great!

Great upgrade in protection
I got these to replace the soft armor from a HD Skull leather jacket. The elbow protectors fitted right away with no problems. The shoulder protectors are shorter than the HD ones, so they move a little on the jacket pockets. I fixed this easily by adding some small velcro strips on the protector and now they stay in place.
They are very comfortable and feel sturdy enough to give you some peace of mind while riding.

Nice step up for the money
I replaced the default Styrofoam armor in my Victory Core Mesh Jacket with these guards. They fit easily enough and bump my jacket up to CE protection. These inserts are heavier than the Styrofoam but that's to be expected. They feel like much better protection though, and actually seem better than I expected for the price. This gear is CE approved, so I shouldn't be too surprised.
These inserts are still quite flexible even though they are fairly solid. They feel a lot like compressed rubber. I expect that they are great abrasion protection with limited impact protection. As mentioned elsewhere, they do have a slight odor to them. It's not a bad smell though. They smell soapy, with a bit of citrus. It's not a very strong smell but it's something you can notice. The odor isn't something that would put me off using these inserts.
Overall this seems like a good purchase since the price is rather low and (at the time of this writing) there is only one level of CE rated protection for shoulders and arms.

This is what I was looking for in body armor
I was looking for protection that was more than just just the dense foam rubber like the tempur pedic bed that came inside my jacket. this is more like a harder rubber and offers more cushioning and protection in case of impact than the foam rubber.

Great armor, great price!
I purchased this armor not as a replacement but as "new in an old jacket." My wife sewed in pockets in a 1970s H-D jacket I like to wear. I didn't want to lay out a bunch of coin on a new jacket but wanted more protection if I transitioned from riding to sliding. This armor was inexpensive, well made, and just what I needed. It also is NOT made in the People's Republic of CHINA which is always one of my main selection criteria. Highly recommended!!

Bio Armor for Northshore Jacket
This product fits perfectly to my Alpinestars Northshore jacket. It does take a little effort but it is worth it. Does have a strong lemon/citrus smell if that does bother anyone, i personally don't mind. Great product.

In your video overview of Alpinestars armor you show the GP Series armor inserts in race suits. I do not see them on your website nor Alpinestars' for purchase. Are they available for purchase just like other armor inserts as an option to upgrade into Alpinestars jackets that normally come with the standard Bio Armor?

I don't think you would have a problem fitting the armor, but you aren't getting a real difference in protection between the two. Personally, I would stick with the REV'IT! armor as it will probably end up fitting better in the pockets and not sliding around.Age: 25-34
