Excellent jacket but some small details are lacking for a jacket this price.
I really like this jacket, the fit on it is perfect and it flows allot of air. It's comfortable enough for me to use commuting every day. The Revzilla video on this jacket is pretty spot on but there were a few small details that i'm a little disappointed with. 1. The Alpinestars name on the forearms of the jacket are just painted onto the leather, not stitched on. 2. The leather seam that covers the pocket zipper has an unfinished edge and I feel like this will get tethered when I have this jacket for longer. 3. The zippers have a small piece of leather stitched on for the handle. This piece broke on my last A-stars jacket and I was hoping that it would be improved with this jacket.
I might just be nit picking, but for how much this jacket costs, the small details matter.

Can't beat protection and feel !
This is one my favorite purchases ever that I added to my bike closet. The feel and protection is awesome, hope I never truly have to test the protection out much, but if I do I feel very confident in case of a get off. Have a 675r and I got the red and white color scheme. Its a perfect match. Get one now !!

Fantastic style, great functionality.
I just received my Alpinestars Atem jacket a week ago. I'm 32 years old, and ride actively here in NYC where I live, and when I need more open road, I head to the bordering counties where I grew up. I'm 6'0, about 190 lbs, athletic build, and the jacket fits me perfectly(I ordered a size 54).
I've had several occasions to take my Atem jacket this past week. Things are finally starting to get consistently above the 30's, and this past week, the temps were consistently in the low 40's to mid 50's. Depending on the sun, and how fast I'm riding, the jacket is a bit chilly as is, but all I had on underneath, was the Alpinestars thermal long sleeve t, which I feel is a bit thin for what it should be. The Atem jacket itself though, breathes well, which I'm sure will serve its function at higher temps.
Even with the slight chill though, I felt relatively comfortable in the 40s and 50s, and can't wait to get this thing out in the Spring and Summer as things heat up.
In terms of style, I get all sorts of questions about the jacket. Living in NYC, you get to observe all sorts of clothing, and even with that said, this jacket turns heads. In terms of the look and feel, you can't beat it.

the perfect Jacket
I like everything about this jacket i'm 46 or 47 around the chest and got a size 58 perfect fit... it simply looks amazing I added a couple of well place APRILIA patches and complements my rsv1000r color scheme very well I also bought the alpinestar moto gp gloves and they interact very well together matching logos and colours

Alpinestars delievers once again by intermixing quality, style, and protection into an amazing jacket. Jacket does fit a little on the small side... and if you have long arms you may find that you need to up size to accommodate.

Fantastic Jacket
I'm 5' 8", 180 lb, Athletic Build. I have a big chest, so i had to go with a 42 to fit it. The Arms are a bit loose "ish", not because of the design of it, but because i need to go a size bigger. I've included the Bionic Insert Back Protector from Alpinestars. I use the Alpinestars GP Pro Gloves in conjunction with this jacket.
So fit isn't an issue for me, it works perfectly for what i do. I hit canyons on the weekend, and I commute during the week. For all of it I wear my gloves and Atem Jacket. They work flawlessly. The jacket breathes like a dream. The Air flow is perfect, it may be too perfect when i go riding in the cold as needed at times, but it's really not unbearable. I can't wait for Summer!!
Since i had to go a size bigger to accommodate, i don't have the race fit feel, which works perfectly for me. I ride a lot around town, and i'm very comfortable doing it, especially at the stop lights and stop signs, i don't feel constricted to sitting in the racing position. All the while, having Racing level protection. It really boosts my confidence while i ride and makes me feel safer.
Style wise, man this thing shreds. I got the black/red/white combination. I get compliments left and right on this jacket.
The material it is made of is fantastic, and you can tell it was made from quality materials. I've had it for about 2.5 months now, and i absolutely love it. The zippers are terrific, i never have issues with them drooping down, and they fit comfortably under my gauntlets. Unlike my Alpinestars GP-R. Simply due to the reason of a button closure on the GP-R vs. the pure Zipper closure on the Atem. No pressure points what so ever on the wrists.
I would absolutely recommend this jacket to anyone that wants to make a two piece suit out of it, or just a killer jacket.

Atem jacket awesome.
Just bought Atem jacket and its awesome looking jacket and feels good it is tight fit, track engineered but don’t see any issue for using on road. I did add the Bionic chest and back protector so that does add to the tight factor but still has good comfort ability. Excellent features recommend it highly.
