AGV K3 Donkey Helmet
Looks Sharp Fits Snug,
Bought this helmet to replace my Scorpion and HJC I usually fit mediums but have to play goldie locks when finding the right fit in a medium helmet.
Loved my HJC CL-16 fit a little loose but still very comfortable. one bad trip with the replacemnt visor popping out in the middle of a ride also noticed that it got lose over time
Scorpion RPM EXO 1000(?) lots of really nice features but ripped my ears off when putting it on and taking off. internal visor was nice but felt it distorted my vision a bit
This helmet seems to be "just right" fits a little more snug (secure) than HJC, yet my ears don't come off with the helmet when removing. ordered it with a replacement visor went on quick and easy.
also noticeably lighter and has a more aggressive look which i dig.
all in all great helmet would buy another as back up.

A pretty piece
Looks really really good, unique yet weird graphics but great colors. For a K3, its awesome, needs some usage to define durability though. Hope crash test never happens :)

A great product, and a great value.
O.K., let's first admit something. Who could not possibly love a Rossi replica helmet? Unless you are a die hard Lorenzo fan, I don't see it happening. This is a really nice helmet, especially given the value of it's price. I have not worn it much, so I will have to save some weight, noise level, and other comments until later. As you know, weight is one thing when I am wearing it around my house, making racing sounds, or bopping around the hood. It is another thing when at the tail end of a multi-hour ride. All in all, I am impressed with the helmet, and would buy it again.

not for the people with bigger heads??
I picked this helmet up and I love it, but the only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the space for your ears is very minimal. Maybe I have a big head, but it seems like out of all my helmets (icon, shoei, arai, hjc), this is the only one that hurts my ears after riding for more than 30 minutes. I do have a wider head in my opinion, but i did buy the recommended size. I wear a 7.5 in fitted hats and all my helmets are large besides my icon which is a medium and this helmet is still the only one that hurts my ears after 30 minutes of riding.
Another issue i did find with this helmet was that the face shield tends to fly open at higher speeds. I was changing lanes and looked over my shoulder for a split second and the face shield flew open. Also if you look up a little bit at higher speeds it tends to do the same thing. Doesn't have a locking mechanism on the helmet which i think it could have used.

Rossi graphics at a reasonable price!
My previous lid was a Shoei RF-1000. I'd say it ventilates just as well, doesn't fog as much, vision is just as good and noise is comparable.
The quality of the paint is superb, and I haven't had any problems with the visor opening or closing at highway speeds. Shield change is easy. Cheekpads are easy to remove, much like an Arai Vector's.
Protection wise, you wouldn't be able to track with it since it's not Snell or has a locking visor. As a fun street helmet that gets lots of looks, laughs and compliments, it gets the job done! There's a story to tell about the graphics if you're a Rossi fan.

For the $.. For the Rossi fan.. Very good!! (but...)
I am a big Rossi fan and this is my 2nd AGV with a Rossi replica design. My prior Rossi helmet was an XR-series helmet which feels more comfortable, is beautifully designed, and all around a nicer helmet. BUT, that helmet costs 2-3x more than this one, so of course it is better.
For the price ($220), the Donkey helmet is VERY well worth the money! I really like the design and I'll get used to the slightly different fitment: Not bad, just different from my other AGV.
There are only 2 things I'd advise a potential buyer about: 1) The donkey is outlined by a white 'shadow'. It doesn't show in the stock photos, but it's there.
2) As other reviewers have noted, the visor does in fact lift up when you check your blind spot on the highway. It is an unwelcomed design flaw when it happens. I'm not sure if it makes me want rid of the helmet, or if I'll just live with it.. but just be aware of it.
