The K-3 is near the top end of the AGV entry level range. GP-tech lines and Valentino Rossi replica helmet graphics make this the ideal helmet for young riders and fans of the racing world. The only full-face thermoplastic model in the agv range, the K-3 is the perfect choice for riders in search of a safe, high-quality helmet with attractive design at a modest price. The K-3 design is inspired by the latest AGV developments starting from the Stealth, S-4, and Ti-Tech and continuing with the Blade/Blade LX and Gp-Tech that have so clearly and distinctive defined the company’s style. This makes the helmets immediately recognizable and distinguished from all the other proposals on the market. In the same way, the differences with the helmet that the K-3 has replaced are equally evident.
Fabrics: Dry-Lex with hygienic treatment
Inside padding: Removable and washable (excluding neckroll)
Good quality helmet for the price.
My first helmet was the Nolan X602. If anyone owns a Nolan, you'd notice the field of vision is slightly narrower. I also purchased the iridium mirror visor and it works wonders on hot sunny days. The vents on the K3 is great. When it's 90+ out, the helmet keeps me cool unlike the Nolan (poor ventilation). I did feel the helmet to have a slight narrow fit (top back part of my head is slightly flat) but After a day of riding, the helmet molded to my head shape. It's light, has good ventilation, super stylish (got the yellow) and good quality for the price.

Good overall helmet a bit loud but not to bad. The only problem i have with this helmet and for me it is a big one is that it doesn't have a visor lock, so when i am on a highway at speeds 75+ and do head checks to look behind me the visor comes up because of the wind. This can be quite dangerous as the visor could be ripped right off by wind. I am surprised that AGV doesnt have visor lock. So if you ride at high speeds be cautious about this and maybe find a different helmet with a visor lock.

AGV K3 Celebr8 Replica (yellow)
This is the fifth helmet that I own and the only one presently from AGV. There are some very good reviews posted abuout this model helmet on the net especially the one from WebBike World and I had used it and others to help me choose this helmet.
Upon my intial use of the helmet I did feel a little pressure at my temples, however, this has gone away after a couple of uses. The helmet fits me quite snug and I wear a small. Ventillation is very effective and keeps you quite cool and fog free. One of the only complaints that I have had with this helmet is the chin curtain. It is retained by friction and does not fit very tightly installed so I have to adjust it quite often. It does, however, stay in place while riding and at highway speeds. I bought the smoke shield right away. It's just the right tint (the helmet comes with clear) and is comparable to most other mfg's offerings. I chose the yellow version of this helmet because I wanted the vizibilty that the neon yellow offers. I wasn't too crazy about the plain Hi-viz offerings on the market and more importantly I was on a budget. The graphics are subtle and yet are not going to represent the graphics as on Rossi's GP-Tech version. They are close though (if that's important to you). All in all an economical and quality helmet.

A shopper asked:I autocross a car but helmets are required to have a SNELL M rating (2005 or higher rating). I can't even find out on AGV's official website what kind of safety certifications they have in Europe. (i.e. SFI, British spec ratings, etc)
Do you guys know? This is important stuff for those of us that use motorcycle helmets for other forms of racing (and I'm sure it's important for guys/gals that track their bikes too)Jul 11, 2011
RevZilla:The yellow on this helmet should be a fairly good match the to the yellow on your GSX-R600. The GSX-R600 is maybe a little more of a dark yellow, while the helmet would be a slightly brighter yellow. In our opinion the colors are not so far apart that it would look mis-matched. Also, it is important to note that colors are often subject to personal opinion, so if you want a perfect match we would recommend having a helmet painted by a qualified professional using a water based paint.May 15, 2012
