Answer: 
To remove the face shield: Place the helmet on its side on your lap. Using your fingers, remove plastic side covers one at a time, pulling up from the rear side. The plastic should be pretty resilient. After removing each side piece, use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the hing screws. Reverse process to reattach.

To remove the internal sun visor: Put sun visor in down position. With the helmet on your lap, grip the visor on one side and pull straight out. Repeat with opposite side. Reverse process to reattach.

*It may be easier to clean the shield and sun visor without removing them from the helmet.
