GMax GM68 Helmet - Solid Colors

GMAX follows-up the huge success of the 46X off road helmet with the same winning combinations for the new GM68 full face street helmet. Plenty of ventilation and plenty of style. Includes tinted shield and a deluxe helmet bag with shield pocket.

The GM68 also features GMAX's Patented L.E.D. light on the rear of the helmet, which is incorporated into rear vent and has different easy to use light settings.

  • Large rear exhaust vents get the hot air out
  • Interior designed to assist shell and styro venting by not blocking the vent holes and channels
  • Lightweight, multiple shells and styro’s for GMAX premium fit and maximum comfort
  • DOT approved, lightweight thermo-plastic poly alloy shell
  • Plush, removable, washable Coolmax® interior allows for custom fit and comfort that is second to none
  • Removable adjustable cheekpads for custom fitting with optional sized cheek pads
  • Interior designed for noise reduction, with noise reduction cheek pad shape, vented chin curtain and rear neck roll shape
  • Padded chin strap with D-Ring closure and retention snap secures the excess strap
  • Patented LED light is incorporated into the rear vent, unobtrusive design is easy to use with different light settings
  • Anti-scratch optically corrected shield is easily removed
  • Large eyeport for improved range of vision

this helmet is pretty cool, i love wheat i got for the price, i love that light in the back! I've been stopped while holding the helmet and have been asked where i got it, i just wish it were a little more comfortable, and it fogs pretty easy, especially when it's cold, i have a scorpion exo and compared to that, the only thing that loses is the comfort, by the way, i felt really happy when i got the extra black visor, and the bags to hold the extra visor and helmet! haha

I have used this helmet regularly during the past 6 months. I am very pleased with the comfort and features. I have used it on warm days (80 degrees F) and cold days (30 degrees F), during day and night. The LED lights on the back are very visible at night, and even using them in very cold early morning and night rides, I have never had to change the batteries. This helmet has the features and ranks with others that cost almost 3 times the price. A very good helmet.

This is a pretty good helmet for the price. I was a little disappointed with how easily it fogs up with all the vents. Have to keep the visor cracked to keep it from fogging. But other than that it is a good helmet.

Bought this as my first helmet after doing a lot of research. The size chart is right on, I ended up going with a small rather than an XS (as I was right in between)and it was a great fit. The light on the back is a nice touch for night time riding and the extra tinted visor is handy because wearing glasses or sunglasses with this helmet can be a tight fit. The view with the visor on is nice and wide and the clarity is awesome. A clean visor is almost undetectable from riding with no visor as there are no annoying sight lines or bends.
I have worn this helmet in 100 degree heat and it moves a ton of air. Sitting at stoplights can be a bit much but anything over 5mph and you're feeling good. You can shut all the vents and it comes with two foam plugs for the mouth area for winter riding but you may want a balaclava as it is still a bit drafty. For $100 this helmet is a bargain!

The helmet runs small. It is a great looking helmet with a patented led on the back of the helmet. The led light has 3 settings and it definately makes you visible on the road.
Airflow is also really good. I live in Dallas so I really need a good air flow helmet.
BEST VALUE FOR MONEY HELMET OUT THERE.

the helmet had a very comfortable yet stable fit with a nice wide field of vision.the spare visor is a good feature as wil be using mainly in the summertime.
The airflow is excellent and the noise level is nice and quiet.

I bought this helmet for my girlfriend and she loves the style and matte black finish. The best part is the price for the features....it included a spare tinted shield and a nice helmet cover!!! I can see why this helmet was helmet of the year for 2007.

Great overall entry level helmet. It comes with a tinted visor and the cheek pads are plush and comfortable. The only downside is that the matte black smudge and gets dirty fairly easily.

Answer: 
A standard D ring and snap for the excess. Strap goes through one side of the D ring, out the other, and then the excess has a button snap that connects to the strap to keep it from flapping around. Its nice and secure but its hard to do with gloves on, even mesh ones. Probably the only downside of the helmet.
