GMax GM68 Helmet - Solid
I needed a helmet to get started and didn't want to spend a ton of money. I don't have a lot of experience to compare this helmet to others. I have ridden about 4,000 miles in this helmet.
The helmet bag is useful. I keep bag in my backpack and put the helmet into the bag while at work and home. I'm sure a $500 helmet comes w/ a bag as well.
The shape, lines, and design of the helmet are cool. The LED light works for visibility (wife was following me home one night and commented on it).
I've installed a Scala G9x in the helmet. This systems is compatible and easy to install. Sound quality (music, phone, gps) is good up to 45mph.
In terms of sound and weight, I intend to do more research and spend money as necessary for a super quiet helmet. Most of my riding is commuting to work at +70 mph.

Good deal on a nice helmet
This helmet is true to size and true to the rev-zilla description. The 2 included visors are easy to swap, the vents open and shut with gloves on, the finish is good and the road noise is muted.
I would like to inform potential buyers of the unintended consequences of so many vents: The bugs.
I love this helmet, but you need to clean the vents often. After 3 hours in the Connecticut hills, I removed many large and beautiful insects from the vents. I feel it is the price you pay for good air flow... Buy this helmet and clean the vents!

Bought as first helmet, originally thought it was pretty nice.
Then it fell off the hood of my truck and the face shield lift system broke in such a way that the shield doesn't stop when you lift it, it just keep lifting all the way off. I would have liked for it to withstand a fall without breaking, but it is what it is.
It still worked, but that got me looking into other helmets.
HUGE difference when you step up to $150+ range, mainly if comfort.
I highly recommend spending the additional $60-$100 to get a really nice helmet right off the bat, so you don't end up spending twice what you should when you want to upgrade from this helmet.
Overall, it's a solid helmet for the price, in hindsight however, I wish I bought a better one to begin with.

I bought this lid in matte black for my girlfriend and was really impressed with all the features. It came in a decent helmet bag but it came with a smoke lense as well and that came in its ownsshield bag. The lights on the back of the helmet are a nice safety touch as anything to make you more visible is a good thing. She is really happy with it.

Delivers what's promised at a low cost
I really like this helmet as a second option. The style has a sweet profile, good comfort, and in AZ, I'm happy to have the extra night time LED visibility on the freeways. Doesn't quite vent as well as some other helmets, but I'm also in a tough climate. Great helmet at a great cost.

Best helmet under $100
I first ordered a Large helmet, but could barely fit my cheeks in. I have a normal sized head and pretty round cheeks. I sent the first helmet back and revzilla exchanged it, no questions asked. They sent an XXL and it is a perfect fit for my face.
The helmet can be quite loud. The airflow is the best I have ever felt. Its like you're not wearing a helmet sometimes. However, the vents work so well they make a whistling noise. The light and additional smoke shield are pretty cool too.
All in all, I'd say this is the best helmet under $100.

Looks good, sounds loud.
This is the third helmet I've ever purchased/used. First off, the look is awesome. Very reminiscent of a design by a major helmet manufacturer without the major price tag. The vents are pretty cool (not a pun). It's still cold enough to not need to open them so I haven't had a chance to really test the airflow. The fit is fine. The only thing I've noticed is I can "kiss" the front inside of the helmet (which I could not do with my other helmets). Maybe it's just the shape of my head/mouth. The other drawback is the noise level. With all the vents I think this is unavoidable. It's not unbearable but it will get annoying on long trips. Some ear plugs or earbuds would solve this issue. There also seems to be pockets to insert the earpiece to a communications system if one was to purchase it.
Not mentioned in the description but included is the smoked/tinted spare shield and a smoked/tinted spare panel for the rear "tail lights". They also throw in some spare batteries, a nice plus.
Overall a fine helmet. I will definitely consider GMax for future helmet purchases.
