Fieldsheer Slip On Pants
Great overpants, but slightly lacking in protection
I bought these pants to serve as overpants for riding my scooter. For that purpose, they're fantastic. These are most assuredly not designed for someone doing 70 mph and crazy turns, as they offer little to no protection beyond some kneepads.
That said, they're exactly what I need. They're breathable enough to wear in warm (and perhaps even hot) weather. The cargo pockets are easy to use with gloves on. The zippers go up plenty high enough to put the pants on or take them off without taking your boots off. They seem well constructed and the sizing was just right, according to the chart on the website.

Great pants! I just wanted a simple, yet effective, slip on pant with good protection and these are them! I was in between sizes and went with the bigger pair. Fits great over my regular clothes and although the pant length is pretty long while standing, it's perfect when I'm on the bike. Have ridden on some cold nights and they kept me nice and toasty. Loss of one star because they aren't as water proof as I was hoping. Although the rain slides off them easily, after a few minutes the water from the seat soaked through.

Good winter overpants
I like the fit of these pants. I'm 5'11" with a 32" inseam and a 36" waist. I ordered the XL. The knee pads did not need adjusting at all. They work well over slacks, jeans, or shorts. The side zippers go all the way up, making it easy put on over boots. However, they do get pretty hot, so I plan on using these as my winter pants.

Nice riding pants
When I purchased these pants I had three requirements to fill: 1) Not cost me an arm and a leg, 2) Offer knee protection, and 3) Be made of a material that could slide across the pavement at 70+MPH.
These pants met all of these requirements, and I have been pleased with them for 9+ months now. The two front pockets hold my cell phone and wallet securely. I haven't had any part of the pants fall off or fail. I'm 5'6" w/ a 30" waist and I ordered the small. They fit over my pants just fine and come down to mid heel with my boots on. At my height the knee armor sits over my knees perfectly when I am on the bike. I don't have any issues moving around in the pants, and getting on the bike is no issue either. i do have one gripe with them and that's that the zipper on the left leg likes to get snagged on the surrounding fabric if you get in a hurry and try to unzip it too fast. Annoying but definitely not a deal breaker.

Not worth it
These are decent overpants for commuting, but there is really not a lot going for them. The knee armor sometimes moves around, so I doubt they would offer a ton of protection in a crash. The cordura is reasonably sturdy to stop road rash.
On the style and features side, they are pretty baggy and plain looking. The full length zipper is convenient. Having had them for a few months, in hindsight I would have paid a bit more and gotten something nicer.

Not worth the money...as cheap as it already is
I wrote a review before, but after wearing it a few more times, I decided that these pants are worse than I gave them credit for.
As someone else mentioned before, the fake pocket buttons come off very easily. One of my came off on my 2nd ride with these pants.
As someone else also mentioned, the knee pads are a terrible fit. They ride up, and there is no way to keep them down.
I usually wear 32/32 pants, so I ordered a Large to use these as overpants. The waist is WAY too big (the pants have belt loops so I use them), and the pant legs are a bit short when I sit on my bike. When I stand, the pant legs drag on the floor.
It's nice that is has zippers that allow you to slip them on over boots. And they're warm...I wore them in 40s over dress pants and was fine.

Good Fit, Good Price
I'm 6feet tall, 190lbs and wear a 36W 32L in Levis 501s. I can wear these pants with or without a belt and with or without anything underneath them and they ride fine. They work best with a belt if I don't have pants on under them. The zip-up legs make it very easy to wear something under these and change quickly. They definitely offer better protection than jeans alone and the pads sit right on my knees. I would recommend these for the casual rider.
