Quite possibly the most durable fully-ventilated pant on the planet, the Baja Pant is able to protect the rider fully while allowing massive amounts of air to cool the rider, even in the hottest conditions. Klim Baja Pants - Great Value I've typically worn motocross pants my entire life. This is my second pair of Klim pants. I wanted lots of venting, and still have great protection. Good value when purchased on sale Seems like a really good value. Will fully test it in two weeks when I go motorcycle camping in Texas. Fit is good. Orange color provides good visibility, and the fact that it has pockets is a plut. May 7, 2013

most vented pant i`ve ever used i just used this pants once and they are great,lots of air going in to cool you down, specially for the central america forest weather, they seem to be very durable..... greeting from panama... revzilla rocks.... March 18, 2013
Top shelf gear I purchased the Chinook pants last year with a focus on fall riding, but ended up wearing them on several hot days - bearable, but not ideal. When Klim went on sale I was able to justify a summer/fair weather purchase. Obviously better ventilation than the Chinook or Dakar, but still a lot of heavy material. Lighter material and/or more mesh would make a cooler pant, but it wouldn't take the abuse I expect of a Klim product. Fit is dead-on, order your jean size. Order the hip pads for another $12 and use tin snips to shape them properly, or spend more for the D30. I use Knox Cross Lite Long knee/shin guards and Sidi Crossfire SRS boots - they all work well together. The only ding would be that the thighs are a bit too baggy - gives you the German jackboot look. February 5, 2013

Need to deal with hot air coming off F800GS radiator. Are these the pants for the job. Recommend other if something better available.

Answer: 
I removed my heat shields so its hotter than normal on my sportbike. I feel no extra heat and the air vent zips are on the topside of your seated thigh. I can feel the heat after only a few mins when I ride in jeans, tho.
