Zero Gravity Sport Touring Windscreen Suzuki GSX650F / GSX1250FA

Zero Gravity is proud to introduce their tallest performance windscreen, the Zero Gravity Sport Touring Windscreen. This windscreen is designed to maximize your riding pleasure with superior wind protection. The Sport Touring Windscreen features a unique design, crafted to reduce the windblast on the rider and provide a more comfortable ride while in the touring and sport touring riding positions.

All Zero Gravity Windscreens feature optically clear acrylic that absorbs vibration, resists cracking and are fabricated using highly specialized vacuum forming techniques, similar to those used to form aircraft canopies. The result is a virtually distortion free windscreen with the finest optical clarity on the market. Additionally, light scratches can be buffed out of acrylic windscreens as opposed to polycarbonate windscreens that can be permanently marred.

Features:

  • Shock resistant
  • Vacuum formed
  • Distortion free

Great product
I had the Zero Gravity Double Bubble on my GSX1250FA and because it got really cold I decided to try the Touring Screen this Winter. It's noticeably taller when you're riding and definitely an improvement as far as wind blocking goes. I don't have to tuck so much anymore to get under the wind-flow. It's definitely better than both the stock and the double bubble windshields for riding in cold weather and in the rain. It does not look 'too big' for the bike as it appears in the stock Zero Gravity marketing images. In person, it looks like it's a factory windshield. That said, I'm pretty sure that the reason it's so great in the winter will be the reason I take it off immediately as the weather warms up. I can see this blocking to much wind in the summer months when gear venting becomes more important than wind blocking. I'll be keeping this windshield and using it regularly in the colder riding months. Definitely money well spent.

Excellent product
Excellent product. It really takes the wind off the center of the chest and puts it over the head without buffeting (I',m 5'10"). Still get some aid on the shoulders but it is minimal. Really improves the quality of the ride, especially on the highways.

Great addition!!
Just put this on my 2011 1250 and it works like magic. With the stock screen I was getting a lot of wind deflection directly into my face, which was very annoying and created lots of noise. Now my ride is much quieter and I can sit up straight without feeling like I'm on the wing of an airplane at 10 thousand feet.

Install was a bit tricky as the instructions were vague. If you have any experiance working on your bike it shouldn't be too bad. Have some lube standing by to get the grommets out.

Enjoy

Great look and functionality
Excellent look! I'm a 6' 5" guy and really appreciate the extra height this shield has over the stock windshield. Makes the ride much more enjoyable rather than battling with the wind. All the wind is off my body, but still get some on the helmet. Since my helmet is aerodynamic unlike my body, this isn't such a big deal.

Good option, great customer focus
Like a lot of folks, I was looking for more protection from the wind on my Suzuki GSX1250FA. This windscreen provides most of what I was looking for, and is definitely doing the job it was designed for. I purchased the tallest version for my bike, and it absolutely performs at keeping the wind off my body. My problem is that when I'm in certain positions, the air flows into my helmet. That's not the windscreen's fault, that's my fault for not having a better helmet. Buffeting from the wind is minimal now, making longer freeway rides a lot more comfortable. Plus, the smoke-gray color adds a bit of aggressiveness to the bike.

Here's the reason I took the time to write a review, though: The install manual was without a doubt the most thorough, easy to understand, and accurate manual I have ever read for any product. The manual was specific for my model (which I would expect, given that the windscreen was), but it was above and beyond. By using lots of clear and detailed photos, calling out different size/ different thread screws, and even suggesting the best ways to work certain parts off the bike, the manual writers clearly showed they know their bikes. Suzuki did not design the windscreen to be quickly replaced, but Zero Gravity made it easy.

Looks great and works well
Bolted in like it was OEM. I'm 5'-11", my bike is a GSX1250FA and I'm currently riding a stock seat. I use a full face helmet. There is some buffeting but it's not too intrusive. Creates a neutral air pocket out to my arms. Smock shield looks nice on my black bike!
