Zero Gravity Sport Touring Windscreen Kawasaki KLR650 2008-2016 4.3 5 18 18
raises bug line 3-4 inches at 40 mph raised air pocket from shoulders to halfway up visor at highway speeds and reduces wind noise some. slight improvement over the stock klr650 windscreen. July 21, 2015
Nice styling, better performance Put the sport touring windscreen on my 2009 KLR 650 as I had an 800 mile trip planned. With the factory windscreen I was getting knocked around pretty bad at 65+ MPH. After I installed this screen I rode it down to Moab from the Colorado high country and was very impressed. Made riding much more enjoyable and I was able to turn my head and take in the views. Highly recommend this product. My only complaint is that it doesn't include new rubber well nuts (the factory ones were dry rotted after 6 years so be careful when you remove them from your old windscreen if you plan to reuse them)I am 5'11". 1 minor issue Great product received quickly and a good value. Installed this windshield but did not care for the bottom half of the wind shield allowed the wiring and other dash components o show through and that was not acceptable. Painted the bottom half a flat black and re installed to solve my issue... works well reducing wind at highway speeds for a 5'11" rider. April 20, 2015
2014 KLR- Functional, but can be improved Deflects the wind well for someone under aprox 5'10" and cuts the wind noise considerably. Install was fast, but had to re-use the rubber bushings from the stock windshield, sort of a pain to insert these into this product but not impossible. First issue: Should be sent with these bushings already installed. Second issue: the lower portion is not painted black so you can see all of the wiring and back of the gauge cluster, not a very nice appearance or finish. You may want to paint the rider side of the lower portion, just be aware that certain paints may damage the plastic and will void the warranty. All in all, I like it and it works but would love it if they addressed the 2 issues above for the next rider. 2014 KLR 650 April 13, 2015
Great upgrade from stock This windshileld does a great job of making 65mph+ riding much more comfortable. In smoke also looks great on my bike. Only cons are that it does not come with the wellnuts to install and they are difficult to find at a hardware store and it is not as solid as the stock windshield. But overall great product and would highly recommend if cant stand your bikes wind noise on the highway. February 16, 2015
Solid product, a little short to shield wind from helmet. Solid product, a little short to shield wind from helmet. An inch or so taller would make a big difference. October 6, 2014
Nice Product but! Really do like this windshield. Not to much to install it but would caution if you notice on your factory windshield the back of it has a vinyl decal on the back covering the back of the instrument cluster. This shield does not and even though it is smoked the white plastic gauges show through..... Easy fix tap a nice straight line across it and use flat or high heat black paint and paint the lower half of back side of windshield. Looks factory.....just thought it would be this way out of box. Not a deal breaker. As far as functionality moves the air about another 4-6 inches up at 70 mph over factory shield. Safe riding!!! September 30, 2014
not for the taller rider i can see how this would be a great product for a smaller rider, but i'm 6'4" and the wind hits me square in the helmet. it is significantly better than the stock windscreen and i'm sure with something like the happy trails ralleye kit the wind will pass right over me September 22, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
moses h: Major upgrade over the KLR650 screen. Looking back, I should have gone for light smoke, for those faster highway rides. I chose dark smoke which looks sweet on the black bike, but it is hard to see through it when hiding from the wind, now its more like horse blinders, just forcing further trail reading which is a good habit anyways. sean o: I'm 6'3", read reviews on this item. seems to work for taller riders. May 10, 2015
Patrick M: My factory wing screen didn't do anything but shade the speedo. May 4, 2015
Sergio S: Needed more wind protection. With the windscreen risers I have on my KLR, this blows the wind completely over me. Im 5'11" Dec 25, 2014
sam w: Great looks and reviews on the windscreen and also a very reasonable price! I will give a full review after riding with windscreen on my 2008 klr 650 cheers! :) Aug 9, 2014
Brian W: There is too much wind hitting me on the bike. After watching the video I thought this might fix it. May 12, 2014
Carlos D: Loved the quality and looks of the Zero Gravity double bubble. Being 6'2" i wanted something a little taller so i decided to go with the sport touring screen Mar 18, 2014

A shopper asked: Do you have this product with the vinyl mask? I think its 206v and Im looking for the Lt. smoke version for my klr650? Thanks. Oct 24, 2014

Thomas W: Hello! I have one on my 2014 KLR 650. It is light smoke and, to me, looks great on the bike. I don't have a vinyl mask; I don't know what that is. I'm 6' tall - it far better protects me from buffeting than the stock shield.

I'm very satisfied with this product.

A shopper asked: What is it made of , acrylic? How much higher is it then factory one? Aug 28, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jonathon N: Yes they are acrylic. They I believe the sport touring screen is 3 inches taller than stock. If you use windshield risers like the ones from klrdash you can change the angle as well as ad more bight to it. That's the setup I use and it works great. Zero gravity shields are a bit more flexible so that is something to get used to.
