Great Windscreen Replaced the screen of my 06 SV650s after a crash and I do not regret buying this windscreen. It has made my daily commute on the highway much better. I would definitely buy again. August 10, 2015
Absolutely love it! Easy to tuck behind for a silent ride After having my SV1000 (and previously owning a 650) for over a year with the stock shield, it was time for an upgrade. Revzilla is very competitive with their pricing for similar shields but are the only place I could find to carry zero gravity. While sitting up I notice less helmet bob from the wind, and while tucked behind it, its so silent it's like I'm in my car, not something I could do with to tiny stock screen. The smoke looks awesome and it still looks very sporty. April 15, 2013

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Thomas M: Wanted more protection for cold weather commute and SV portal riders say if offers that with good reviews. A video on You Tube also had a very helpful very positive review. I ride an SV1000s. Oct 25, 2014
dennis p: totally fell in love with track days on my gixxer and want to convert my sv into a more comfortable ride Oct 1, 2013
A shopper asked: Is the change to the windscreen worth it/very noticeable? Jun 12, 2015

Thomas C: I have Helibars on my SV1000S and the difference is really noticeable for me and in a good way. The stock screen seemed to push a lot of air under my helmet. This one pushes the wind into the top of my helmet. Not 100% ideal but the buffeting, etc... is all gone and traveling on the highway is enjoyable now. Aug 8, 2015

Josh S: If you still have the clipons than yes it will push the wind up a lot.. if you have a sv650s and you put the naked handlebar on like I did it doesnt quite push the wind up high enough. Still does a good job tho

Thomas M: Less direct wind buffering, but i'm pretty short. To be honest i was expecting the wind to be diverted right over my head, and is is alot better than stock, but not 100% better Jun 17, 2015

Raul D asked: Do i need to get new bolts/screws for the install or could i re-use the ones from my old windscreen? Aug 5, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Thomas C: If I remember correctly, you should be able to re-use your old ones if needed. Mine were a little dry-rotted (wasn't sure until I removed the old screen), so I had bought new ones just in case. The item # for the nuts is 849570 and were ~$14 if you want new ones. I love the touring windscreen by the way and wish I had bought it years ago... Aug 8, 2015
